Sure, you don't want a bunch of clones but you want everyone on the same page or at a minimum same chapter. If one person's goal in the session is to talk to every single person in town while the rest of the party wants to crunch a bunch of skulls someone is not going to be happy.

There was a D&D-style rulebook for a game, way back in the 80's, cannot recall the name. It focused entirely on sex, rape & so forth. Table after table to roll for almost anything imaginable. Vaginal diameter? Yup, there's a table for that.
You defeat the monster, (combat, spells & stuff was secondary) you find the maiden tied up, you can set her free or just rape the hell out of her. Tables for everything, including consent negotiation.
This is intentional subversion because Conan represents peak positive masculinity in fiction. In video games with a chargen they're trying to make the male character models weaker while making the females stronger. When someone tries to say 'see you can totally make a tough muscle guy in this game' we can say not so fast and point to Conan as the ideal... for now.
Because leftists will gladly endure something they detest if it means they'll eventually control it and subvert it to suit their agendas.
Could easily be argued that the Conan stories were actually tamer depictions than what could be expected within such a setting.
