This is intentional subversion because Conan represents peak positive masculinity in fiction. In video games with a chargen they're trying to make the male character models weaker while making the females stronger. When someone tries to say 'see you can totally make a tough muscle guy in this game' we can say not so fast and point to Conan as the ideal... for now.
