o7 That he held toughed it out for so long given how bad his throat cancer got is impressive, those surgeries are rough on your quality of life.
As fun as topgun was, I wish they'd remember some of his other roles first, like Doc Holiday in Tombstone.

Browsing his filmography, I was surprised to find relatively few memorable roles. Tombstone was easily his best performance.
Top Gun, Heat, and Tombstone are the top 3 for me. Honorable mention to The Ghost and the Darkness

Pneumonia can be caused by bacteria, virus, fungi and inhaling liquid/food. The later type is probably what killed Val Kilmer.
