At least old-school arranged marriages had the benefit that the involved would likely eventually bond over their mutual struggle to survive. Nowadays, nobody could be bothered to tough things out when they get stressful or the "spark" goes away, even when "true love" is involved.
Arranged marriages go in knowing they won't love each other. They will have to learn to live together first and then gradually the love seeps in from that shared space. As antithetical as it is to most Western sensibilities, its shown to be more healthy and stable than letting people choose for themselves.
But, like most things, people focus on the rare terrible version (selling your daughter to noblemen) and ignore that normal people do just fine with it if allowed.
I'm still not going to advocate for them, but they have the history and data showing they do work way better.

Have to wonder how it would go if they split the modern sample into "self-directed marriage" and "self-directed marriage without easy divorce." I doubt there was ever a time with arranged marriage and easy divorce* for obvious reasons.
Is it actually the choice of entering marriage that makes the difference or the presence of social incentives to make it work.
The data I am specifically thinking of was from a study/documentary done of arranged marriages in America (yes that means mostly Jeets) I covered in my undergrad. So they had easy access to the divorce but chose not to because it both worked out and they had extreme pressure from the families to not do so. I imagine divorcing the girl your mom literally arranged for you would get you disowned.
Of course there is a lot of factors and angles involved, like the fact that arranged marriages in the modern era are still mostly a Jeet thing, but of the small amount that still happen has a consistent trend of it being effective.
I do think the gap would narrow considerably with the return of Fault-Divorce or other major consequences for women trying to escape a marriage. When you know you are stuck with this person until death, you put in a lot more effort to make it work instead of imploding it.
At this point, I've heard enough cases of divorce rape with even arranged marriages, that the data you mentioned (and yes, I'd heard the same thing as well when I was in college) is likely no longer valid.
Apparently, it is now common in India for the bride's family to immediately turn on the groom as soon as the marriage is official. The wife refuses to have sex, threatens the husband and his family of suing him for rape and domestic violence, and demand that his family pay a ransom for her not ruining his life, and after they suck his family dry, she divorces him.
This is a scenario that seems to now be extremely common in India. It even happened to a guy that works with me, in the past year, after he'd asked his parents to find him a partner back in India.
It seems that our cherished western values of allowing frivolous divorces is successfully making its way around the world.
I was with you until you started talking shit about me selling my daughters to nobleman. How else will I be able to solve our issues with House Corrino and regain our seat on the Landsraad?

I wish Nick Rekieta hadn't turned out to be such a disgusting degenerate. He actually had a pretty good take on the issue, before all the wheels fell off of his own life and marriage.
Yeah, all his relationship advice is a lot more sus in hindsight considering he's a trustfund baby, a cokehead, a cuck, an adulterer, a drunk and probably a child abuser through neglect.
I wonder who is the 2025 equivalent of 2021-22 Rekieta.
I do miss his old show, I never really found a replacement.
Nick Fuentes can fill some of the late night content gap, but he has the same degeneracy problems and takes himself too seriously.

* retarded reality TV shows aside, I mean.

More importantly, how will House Frogger make it across the street with all those big trucks constantly whizzing by?

Probably Legal Mindset.
Are you actually capable of learning or pattern recognition?
Well, one difference is that I'm aware of Nick. J's past and proclivities up front and can weigh that accordingly.
And a faggot
Inviting and embracing evil has this corrosive effect on your entire life. Sometimes it's slow, sometimes fast.
