What a coincidence. USAID funding gets frozen and suddenly Politico misses payments to its staff (twitter.com)

Your analogy is dead wrong. The government isn't a kitten you care for. It's a weapon. And for at least the past 100 years, it's been pointed at you specifically.

The Trump admin & allies are currently involved in what is called a "Entangled Gunfight". When two people are fighting and there's one gun involved, it's not a fight, it's a gunfight, and it's our gun.

4 D's: Distance, Deflect, Disarm, Disable

By winning the election, Trump closed the distance to get to the gun, and he paid the price of being shot in the ear for it. The gun has now been successfully deflected from being pointed at your head. The next several attacks on the Fabians by executive orders and appointing cabinet picks are distraction strikes to get the Fabians to loosen their hands on the gun. Next we disarm them and take over these structures. Then and only then can we disable them by purging the institutions and putting conspirators in prison (or just closing institutions entirely)

Well, shit.

Hopefully my analogy still makes sense.

That may all be true but I'm pretty sure he was talking about the reaction of the people, not the government.

As DOGE continues to cut and freeze these payments through things like USAID with his crack team of young autists, I wonder if all the protests we see from the left start getting less organised and fewer in number.

There's still private funding. It's not like it's only our own money being used against us.

But if I know these scumbags as well as I think I do, they're greedy enough that they're more reluctant to use their OWN money when they can use others.

That's basically what happened to BLM after corporations no longer saw it as a fad, and after state AG's realized how much money had been just directly embezzled.

The money cut off, there was massive in-fighting, people disappeared from public spotlight because there was an actual risk of jail.

They've been pretty low key and useless, I noticed. Ironically, the protests are ACTUALLY grassroots, and these protestors are realizing, they're a very small number. 100 people showing up in fucking NYC is NOTHING. These motherfuckers are a minority.

Most of the leftwing media in the West is heavily funded by governments.

It's pretty extreme here in Germany.

The government runs the biggest media empire straight up itself which they finance by levying a mandatory fee on all citizens.

As for "private" media, if they are small enough they're run as NGOs and get grants directly from the government. If they're too big to technically count as non-profit the government has to launder that money. They either give it to "independent" NGOs who then forward that money to the media or the government disguises payments as ad campaigns.

It's a whole propaganda industry that mostly relies on governments paying them.

Same thing in Canada. Trudeau was elected because he promised massive amounts of government money to all mainstream media, and to keep the CBC afloat.

Canada and Québec both voted massive funding plans for public and ''private'' news media under the argument that we needed to keep journalists jobs for ''quality information''.

After the funding was voted, there were massive layoffs and massive bonuses to managers.

That's terrible!

The managers and the employees should have been laid off!

''There was a glitch in our government scam. We're desperately trying to find a way to steal taxpayer's money again. P.S. : Please daddy Soros bail us out untill we find another scam.''

I'm still at odds with the fact the word Doge is attached to cutting America's cancer. If I told myself in 2012 what is to come I'd have had myself committed.

DOGE is also pissing Redditors off, the very site where that fucking meme came from. It's GLORIOUS.

Politico was full-on TDS. And kept lionizing Hillary.

How badly is the politico budget for that to happen so suddenly? It's only been a few days and the money given would be sitting in an expense account.

Probably had the same budgeting method as the government they suck off of: all money goes into a single general account, where commingling and embezzlement are rampant and no one knows who bought what and why.
