Wow it really does look like ass, even for a console game that trailer looks like a bunch of premade assets slapped into a too-fucking-dark setting to hide all the flaws.
Oh looks it's "A fat, stubbled troon walks into a room and announces he will not fuck any of the guys there. Everybody breathes a sigh of relief." the game
This seems utterly pointless and stupid. Doesn't matter what platform it releases on, if people want to make R34 art of it they will so your "we must preserve our artistic vision" argument is invalid. And you saying this basically guarantees people will be spite-making R34 art of your game. In fact, this is probably going to inspire someone to take a jailbroken PS5 and get naughty mods working on it simply because of this decision.
They used the same stunt to promote their last game Quantum Error, which flopped horribly on PS5.
This sort of coverage is what they're looking for. You now know the game exists, and you can't have it. Basically using the console war to create awareness for their game. They don't give a shit about modding, it's a smoke screen. One of their previous games on PC has all of one mod on the nexus and it's to skip their splash screen at startup to get to the game faster.
Their previous games that also came to PC as well as PS4/5 were: Son and Bone, and Kings of Lorn.
If you don't remember them, don't worry, neither did I, and I played Son and Bone at a friend's place years ago. I just forgot about it. It's just a dino shooter asset flip with stolen ideas directly ripped from Doom 2016 and Serious Sam, but with dinosaur enemies. Check some gameplay videos if you want to see what I mean.
I didn't play Kings of Lorn, but it also appears to be a bug filled quickly made asset flip filled King's Field wannabe.
Imagine not releasing on the largest market in your industry just to "own the chuds".
lol, lmao
Looks like ass anyway.

The female character model looks like its been ripped out of a cinematic trailer from the late 90s.
This is the equivalent of a fat girl telling you she’s not going to send you any nudes.

Annnd I bet the MAJORITY of the Dino Crisis fanbase they hope to capitalise on ARE on PC.
So they are kneecapping themselves..
Soooo. It'll take a bit longer to play on PC. Got it.
Whelp, that's the most retarded thing I've heard today.
Modders need to take this as a personal challenge and mod it anyway.
We got Bloodborne working reasonably well on PC now, I give it a couple years.
lol k.
Those devs must be Ableists puritans. Unless this is all a reverse psychology PR campaign for hype and then they release on PC anyway.
Looks to me like a bunch of Male Feminists hand-wringing about the potential sexualization of a computer-rendered model based on a female voice actor.
Face scans are a plague in gaming.

Bullying works apparently.
And nothing of value was lost to the pc gaming community.
Oh it's these guys again, Teamkill Media.
