Weren't we once a nation of laws?

Brother, we've had dozens/hundreds held for 4 years without trial over what amounts to nothing more than entrapment trespass and half the country has continuously cheered for it the entire time. Why are you only questioning that now?

So friends, help me out, are people in your socials circles celebrating the assassination of the CEO? Or am I being gaslighted?

I've seen it too, and I don't think it's top-down gaslighting, people really are celebrating it. It doesn't even make sense for this to be a psyop by the rich globalist types, you say they're protected but I think think they'll definitely be on the recieving end at some point if they normalize stuff like this.

If this was all a psyop meant to encourage lone wolf style attacks I just don't see how they're supposed to control it. For every loon that decides to go after Musk or Trump there will be another taking aim at Gates, Soros Jr, pharma CEOs or BlackRock board members.

Plus it seems unnecessary since their media brainwashing already has people taking shots at Trump and very eager to take shots at Musk even without this stunt.

That's simple. Party members were never even remotely close to the action, Maybe not even in the country until it was over. Reminds me of the silly skit made by Oversimplified where Lenin was hiding in the bush.

I just don't see how they're supposed to control it

It's easy. Think of it like distillation. If you control the media, you raise the temperature just enough that the volatile compounds start to go off but the stable ones don't. More of the left is composed of loons than the left. And the the right is more likely to value rule of law and order. That's why they're on the right to begin with.

Soros has been enemy #1 of the right for decades. Quite possibly had more rhetoric aimed against him than any other figure. I remember a single assassination attempt: that guy who spammed pipe bombs by mail in 2018.

Make no mistake, the media is trying to make this shooting into a "moment" and the goal is killing anyone the left sees as enemies. They might lose one or two, but the violence would be massively disproportionate.

As a side note, consider the prevalence of preppers on the far right. They're willing to take action but only once order has completely broken down, so they fantasize about that scenario.

My boy we lost the war to the point of irrecovery during Regan. It was lost but recoverable during the Truman years and on.

What you are witnessing now is the fight over what the new world looks like. Some parts of that are inevitable and one of those inevitable pieces is that a lot of people like that are going to die.

Frankly they probably deserve it.

If you think your side is in danger from vigilantes, then it is, because that is your guiltily conscience speaking. Stop being evil. Stop defending the megawealthy that use lawfare to enslave the serfs.

How many "precious children" did he allow his company to let suffer or die because he saw it as his duty to serve shareholders first and patients last?

Fuck him and the Lear jet he rode in on. Stop simping for rich fucks who would stomp your face in the name of one more magic dime.

I hope he gets reincarnated as a worm in a raghead's butt.

the tragedy isn't that he got fucked. the tragedy is that it took a rogue gunman breaking the law to do it. In a proper nation he would have been sent to jail long before it got to that point.

That's what I'm getting at. The system is broken, and serves the corrupt. The corrupt elite deserve to have their version of The Puppet Man keeping them in line.

America was founded by rich fatcats. Not "corporate oligarchs" but they were literally our version of nobility. Otherwise revolutions of "the people" all end up communist.

OK, then, look at why the corporate oligarchs should be made to sweat nowadays. They're no different than the corrupt nobility of old.

My people come first, and those fat fucking parasites running health insurance trade my people's lives by the thousands so their line can go up slightly steeper. When your "nation of laws" stops using my kind as serfs, I might not think of you as a bitch for your pearl-clutching over one dead psychopath.

We were already fair game.

I'm semi-ambivalent about the CEO thing. I really don't have enough details to take a strong position.

But some motherfuckers definitely deserve it and hide behind the law.

I already am fair game. We all are. That's why he was able to enrich himself at the expense of our lives. People were fucking dying, fighting with his company to get the coverage that they paid for, and you're too stupid to realize that that could only happen because we were all already fair game.

If they normalise assassinations like this then I think it will start to effect them at some point. Time and time again they weaponise things and each time are genuinely shocked when it's eventually used against them.
Which is quite funny.

Weren't we once a nation of laws?

Laws that are selectively enforced and twisted to conform to what the establishment wants to happen.

If I do insider trading, I go to prison. If Mitch McConnell does it, nobody says a word.

Laws are just words on paper. If they aren't enforced, they are worth less than a letter to Santa Claus.

Back when the country was founded, we as a people agreed the laws were just. Now, we have states that routinely violate their own laws, not just the constitution, and we have people cheering it on as long as it hurts their political rivals.

So friends, help me out, are people in your socials circles celebrating the assassination of the CEO?

Insurance is one of the few industries that fucks over everybody equally. Everyone at every level of income has some story of an insurance company trying to fuck them over. Health insurance is especially egregious because they can, and have, killed people by denying their claims that per their own policy they say they cover.

This has been happening for decades, ever since the AMA fucked us over by creating the hospital system as it is today. Millions of people have died from preventable illness/injury death due to these insurance companies wanting a bigger profit. Everyone on this board has heard of at least 5 stories.

During the lockdown, people had to watch their loved ones die from a distance, instead of being there to hold their hand one last time. This was due to rules created by the same untouchable bureaucrats that run organizations like insurance companies.

This was honestly inevitable, and I'm more surprised it didn't happen sooner. You can't fuck over this many people and not expect some kind of pushback from somebody with nothing left to lose.

Now it seems that those behind the curtain are pushing society toward vigilantism just in time for biggest reshuffling of the political establishment in my lifetime.

Doubt it. Mainstream stuff is saying bullshit like, "this was a tragic loss for the healthcare community."
