Kamala Harris is looking at another presidential run in 2028 or a CA governor run in 2026 (archive.ph)

My condolences to anyone still living in CA, Kamala would be even worse than Gavin Newsom.

Harris likely will not get past the beginning of the 2028 Dem presidential primaries.

CA governor is the only thing Harris could actually win.

May God have mercy on California.

CA needs a state divorce. An actual state divorce, not that bullshit they tried where San Francisco, LA, and Sacramento each got their own state.

Absolutely. We need more intra state secession so the rest of the state doesn't have to live like this.

I think Orange county is fucked either way. So I'd split Cali off north of Marin county (the county North of SF) and give it a healthy chunk of the center, Fresno, Sacramento, Bakersfield. Call it Jackson or something (I think there was a plan for that? or was Jackson for the proposed Oregon split off to Idaho?) Then let South Cali have the Arizona border and access to South Nevada.

Seeing the population shift between the two over even just 3 years would be amazing. The Libs would never surrender Tahoe, so it kinda fucks up the plan.

Jefferson is the proposed northern state of parts of California and parts of Oregon.

The Oregon people just want to join Idaho, not form another state. The politics would be more upset by a new state than a swap of low-pop counties.

you're thinking of the State of Jefferson

Jefferson was the proposed state comprised of the California counties north of the Bay Area and most of Oregon outside of Portland.

She won't win a Presidential primary. Never stood a chance. So yeah I guess the other thing.

Newsom and Beshear would mop the floor with her.

the 2028 Dem presidential primaries.

What, you think they still have those?

I feel that nominating Kamala again could go either way. On the one hand, some people on the left might not be happy with Kamala getting propped up as the leader after she was hoistered in as Biden's replacement, and there's already been a discussion about if the democrats will not be nominating a woman again for a long time after Trump beat both of their picks. On the other hand, they might just be convinced that if Trump managed to make a comeback victory, Kamala can do the same since we've been using her time as VP to prove the point of why she shouldn't win, and the fact that there's only two real candidates during any given presidential election due to plurality voting means that people might just vote her if only because they don't want whoever Trump deems his successor.

“There will be a desire to hear her voice, and there won’t be a vacuum for long,” a person close to Harris said.

I can think of few voices, both literally and metaphorically, that I think there is less desire to hear. Even the libs that loved her didn’t love her, they loved that she was the designated party figure and ”black/a woman/not Trump.” It’s the same kind of “support” that Biden had, it was transferred to Kamala as soon as the media demanded, and now they’ll discard Kamala and latch on to the next media-anointed figure in the exact same way.

Her voice is nails on a chalkboard bad. And that's before adding the vocal fry to it. I have said before that it wouldn't matter if she was reading Shakespeare. I can't listen to her for more than a few seconds without wanting to stab myself in the eardrums to make it stop.

Her voice is as much a liability for her as RFK's is for him.

RFK has a horrific health injury as an excuse. Kamala changes her accent several times a day if need be, she's able to control her voice, she actively chooses that tone.

I don't doubt it. Nobody has that much nasal tone in their voice naturally. If girlbosses think this is what they have to do to get ahead, I won't complain. Never interrupt your enemy and all that.

I prefer that people write things down. I don't like to listen to RFK. I don't like to listen to most politicians.

Newsom and Whitmer have been priming for presidential runs since 22. They’re both the soulless used car salesman personas who will say and do anything with a smile while arresting you for fishing during Covid. The fact people have repeatedly voted for them is insane, especially given what they did during Covid and how they decimated their state economies.

To be fair it was dead people who voted for Whitmer.

She killed 13,000 people in acts of negligent homicide and got re-elected. The living Whitmer voters have a lot to be blamed for.

That’s the tip of the iceberg, her policies forced the shutdown of 1/3 small businesses in west Michigan and left the rest paying massive loans taken out to stay afloat during her lockdowns. She then whores out to Chinese corporations who are building massive battery manufacturing plants in… agriculture zones. The list is endless on how she fucked up things that will take decades to recover from if anyone competent can even get into office anymore after Obama fucked the state blue with radical Muslim imports.

Sigh, yeah. It's fucked. It's also why I still support State Secession. It might take too long for the states to clear out the garbage, and might be more beneficial to just to have breakaway governments within the state (still loyal to the US, just to be clear). Alternatively, we could start pushing for mandatory state electoral colleges.

Whitmer's approval rating right is now not that good even in her own state according to even a CNN exit poll.

49/48

Nearly split half and half.

I think she would flop as a presidential candidate after her weird feeding Doritos video mocking Catholics.

Half and half is not the appropriate approval rate for killing 13,000 people.

It should be 0%. Hence, there are many to blame for these killings.

BWAHAHAHAHA

DO IT you idiots, I want MAGA to go on AFTER Trump, more government purges, more ACTUAL conservative supreme judges like Thomas just more tech literate, closing of more agencies.

PLEASE keep doing the same shit Democrats so we only need to focus our purges on one party than get stretched thin trying to clean up two parties.

I was so hoping we were done with this bitch.

She's dangerously stupid, dangerously evil (although by politician standards she's barely even standard-evil), and perhaps most importantly she's dangerously fucking annoying!

She's like a replacement fighter who took a fight on short notice and lost, but does well enough to imagine they'd win with a full camp.

The more people see of Kamala Harris, the less they like her.

Her running a full campaign will make her performance this year look impressive for her.

I cannot wait to win even NJ and VA on top of the states we won in 2024 with Vance if they actually run Kamala again!

▲ 9 ▼
– ModsAreAIDS 9 points 1 year ago +9 / -0

That would require Harris to win the Democrat primary, so it won't be happening unless the DNC rigs it in her favor (which they have done before). I just don't see them picking her to rig it for. Newsome, Shapiro, or Big Mike? Sure. But not Kamala.

In a legitimate primary, she drops out before Iowa. Again.

Over one billion dollars spent on tying to get her elected, all spent the way Leftists spend any public funds they get their hads on ( wasteful to the extreme ).

90% of the corporate and media establishment backing her.

So insufferable she still lost.

Newsom is probably out since he's a hated white male and getting cucked by Harvey Weinstein isn't worth enough victim points to put him back in the game. But I agree with your main point. There's no shortage potential candidates that check off the necessary DIE boxes so they don't have any reason to pick a retarded prostitute who's burned them already.

Atm I guess their presidential nominee will be Governor Wes Moore of MD

Black man, veteran, businessman and governor.

He ticks a lot of boxes.

Obama is the rigger. I dunno.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 3 ▼
– ModsAreAIDS 3 points 1 year ago +3 / -0

That would just prove my point. Obama was pissed that Biden immediately endorsed Kamala after they pulled off their coup. He wanted to pick his own guy. Biden and Obama hate each other. His endorsement was his last "fuck you" to Obama on his way out.

If Obama can rig the primary, he will do it to save his own legacy, not Biden's.

California has been at the forefront of election "fortification" so this is probably one of the only states she'd be able to win in.

Unless Trump actually manages to get the RINOs in congress to pass nation wide voter ID. Then she's and the DNC are screwed.

Funding a campaign allows her to pay her current bills and funnel money to supporters. Can't let that free money pool dry up.
