Ceasar was a based populist, so this is a great advert. But I disagree that Trump is a Ceasar figure, he's not here to overthrow the republic but instead he's here to restore it, so hes more like Emperor Aurelianus, come to save us from the crisis of the 3rd Century
Reminder that in 2017, there was a version of the Shakespeare play "Julius Caesar" where instead of the titular character/person being stabbed to death, it was Donald Trump.
Reminds me of that HIMYM episode where Ted gets caricatured of sorts in a movie written by the ex husband of a woman Ted almost marries but instead she leaves Ted at the altar and runs off with her ex husband.
In the movie there's a character blatantly based on Ted and named in such a way it would be like having a character called Ronald Grump written by pure distilled TDS. At one point in the film it flat out uses Teds full and real name dropping any and all pretense that could have been argued up until that point.
