I especially love the Kony 2012 one, it do be like that.
I still remember going to shit all over my friends for that one and them just shrugging it off like they had forgotten about it and hadn't spent weeks screaming about war and billions of dollars to spend on it.
One of my first tastes of how empty Leftie principles really are.
Internet Historian did a great backgrounder years back on the soyboy who organized the failed campaign.
It's also interesting to explore Wikipedia bias and formatting.
It's really hard to find any of the incredibly numerous Islamic terrorist groups called "extremists."
They just can't help themselves:

Oh man there is some great cringe from that thing. Premium quality
Unfortunately, guys like that killed that game to the point it's a shadow of it's former self.
Last I heard players were letting the bots win to effectively lose the game in protest.
When a large percentage of your players refund in protest of you trying to pull a fast one with accounts, you can never really recover that momentum you had.
And considering they didn't even try to "make it right" and instead went with "we weren't clear, we will talk about it later, move on" as their apology, it was pretty obvious the game was good in spite of them not because of.
Is Helldivers still going to shit? Haven't followed it that closely. Guess my strategy of not buying games until they're 6-12 months old and on sale paid off again.
Quick look on steamcharts isn't looking too rosy: 30-50% decline each month: https://steamcharts.com/app/553850 Still almost 30k daily peak though.
Most people I know got their refunds and left, and they were pretty constant players. The handful that didn't haven't played in a while.
It was inevitable to lose some portion of your playerbase, that's the fate of all multiplayer only games. But when you have a difficult multiplayer only game with a steep learning curve, you want your dedicated players around to carry newbies into it.
Instead they drove many off, whether by controversy or simply lack of any real interesting things to do, and that means it'll just slow die from here.
What did they do?
Extremely downplayed or in some cases outright denied that you would be required to link a Playstation account to the game to play it, after they disabled it on launch. Leading to a lot of people being told they would lose access to their game after they had already bought it, and then had multiple people at thier company mock people being upset about it.
It went bad enough that Steam waived their refund restrictions for the game and offered it for people with 100s of hours.
After that they've been nerfing a TON of shit, hence the defections (combine that with the bots ragdolling players WAY the hell to much)
The Bots have been overpowered since release and the huge fucking power gap between them and the Bugs is so bad I don't even understand it. Double so because you can just go start doing Bot missions from the outset without being told they are legions harder, which is a great way to instantly ruin new players desire to get into it.
Also, PVE game "balance player nerfs." Always a sign of a bad dev.
Helldivers or Warhammer?
Helldivers, Warhammer fans seem to be adopting the strategy of 3d printers go brrr and getting the new game on a winter discount if they don't have it already.
First wez put the plastic on the machine then look up dem space Orks. We get mad guns and go bakaka for days
Especially considering 3D printers have gotten really affordable. They're basically smartphones now where manufacturers release a new line of models every year and you can get a 1-2 year old used one for really cheap.
Ironic that the first 5 seconds of a game having a WMBF couple as part of its in universe propaganda never gets brought up.
Not just a white guy and black chick though: it'll be an effeminate goofy looking white loser with a black girlboss who has to make sure he remembers to breathe because he's completely incompetent at everything.
Activist in the streets, colonized in the sheets.
Everything is propaganda. The question is whether you agree with it or not. Liberals love pushing their crap, pretending it's not pushing an agenda. While they censor and stop things they don't like
Most things aren't propaganda, or even political.
The problem is Leftism is based on Ideological Totalism, so nothing is allowed to be not political.
The people who think they're the most immune to propaganda are often the ones most susceptible to it.
"The bugs are the good guys! They were attacked unprovoked!"
