Never give privilege to an unmutable characteristic like race or sex. You just create an entitlement culture.
Nah I'm tired of this shit. We are all aware that some races are entitled to respect based of what they have achieved.
All this fairness talk is stupid. I don't want fairness. Fairness is my children starving like tons of children around the world. I will not prioritize fairness, equality, or preventing "entitlement culture" over the truth that my race deserves the privileges that we have earned through our actions.
Then aren't you prioritising privilege based on actions and merit and it so happens that a lot of White people deserve it than just based on the fact they are White alone?
I have no problem giving privileges based off meritocracy of actions as if someone is providing more to society than they take they should have benefits, but basing it off a colour sheet or the genitals your born with or maim is the part I find idiotic.

The issue is you cannot judge merit of every individual completely, so we have to abbreviate. Race, and sex, are simple indicators like many others we use to estimate people around us. Ergo let's cut to the chase

Sakoku or the isolationist policy that lasted for 250 years. Ultimately they failed to survey and adapt new technologies from permitted trading partners, so America smashed their shit in, but the idea was profound and had lasting consequences on their culture contributing to why it's so interesting today.
Though looking it up now the policy seems to be more credited to Tokugawa Iemitsu (Ieyasu's grandson).
They're also very lucky to be extremely far away from these shithole nations. Makes the journey a lot longer compared to Europe or the US.
