Its not new for American authorities to get trained by Israeli authorities. Collaboration with the CIA and the FBI has been ongoing since the the end of WW2. Israel naturally has the best tactics and skills, so they share it with allies for mutual benefit.

To be entirely fair, that rule is for the people doing their mandatory service, not mossad.
Yeah they're not worried about the pistols staying in the holsters, they're worried about the draw. Conscripts generally go their entire career without even drawing their gun in anger, so their training lapses, so to prevent NDs when drawing, they carry with the bolt closed on a loaded magazine. The front line guys don't because they train on it.
It's kind of like how our rear echelon troops have much more lax marksmanship requirements than the infantry.
Police are attack dogs of the local government. To think they are ever on your side, rather than that of their political masters means you've got a mind for modern academia.

None of them enforce the law. They enforce the wishes of the establishment, law be damned.
Even good cops claim to only protect and serve, not enforce the law. Bad cops use enforcing the law as an excuse to arbitrarily go after certain people for whatever reason. (personal corruption, state corruption, or laziness)
"To Protect and to Serve" was the winner of a fucking magazine contest the LAPD ran in February 1955 to determine what future motto to spray on their patrol cars. It has zero legal or even moral basis, as numerous US Supreme Court cases, such as Castle Rock v. Gonzalez, have shown.
It's an ideal that police want to feel like they're upholding, and expect us to believe. I'd argue they do have a moral obligation. The Uvalde police should've been lynched, regardless of legality.
The problem isn't that all of them are evil.
Its that tomorrow, every single one of them could change to be evil and you couldn't do a damn thing about it. They'd be able to do so without issue, and probably even be promoted for it.
Its never that they all are, its that they all have the power to at any moment. And all that keeps them from doing so is their own individual morality.
