Imagine training for the Tour De France for years, having a remote yet actual chance of winning...and then all your hopes and dreams being destroyed in a single moment because some asshole spectator got in your way and knocked you down.

Pretty sure it was a disseminated talking point. My main question is how much of it is disingenuous politicking versus sincere delusion.
