“Monkey Man is far more successful at exploring sexuality in the genre via a group of transgender women who teach the Kid how to harness his pain into power,” reports the far-left Los Angeles Times.
Watch the Masters of the Universe CGI show if you need a He-Man fix. A fantastic Skeletor since the OG and a fun take on characters in a Cyber Barbarian Punk style universe.
Kid focus all them are Teenager and it's got a very unique style. Some of the best stuff is their Skeletor and King Randor interactions and just Skeletor in general as he's competent. Good balance of the characters with none of the Girrrl Power stuff. They are as flawed as everyone else.
Seems like this one is getting heavily astroturfed on review sites. I'm no expert, but the fact that the VeRiFiEd AuDiEnCe reviews all feel very samey and are all rave reviews for something that should be getting trolled is suspect.
I'm not even interested in John Wick at this point. The first one was an epic revenge story, and each one has gotten sillier. I watched JW3, but had to force myself to get through it. Don't even care about 4.
Four was pretty good for what it was (mindless action movie that felt like a comic book in a way).
The only gripe I had was the grllboss daughter at the very beginning who vanished from the plot after the first scene was done with. Literally could have cut her out of the story and lost nothing.
they killed off John Wick properly and left no room for interpretation
They can absolutely resurrect him if they want based off that ending. You don't actually see him dead and he has had a desire to "escape" the life. Faking his own death is totally within the realm of possibilities.
That said, I really hope they don't because that series got real dumb, real quick.
The trailer was wildly misleading. I was somewhat hyped to see it. Finding out that it’s trans propaganda has switched me from “must see” to “must skip”. That’s how wise they were to hide the tranny shit from general audiences.
Of course the trannies couldn’t help but brag about their representation, so the movie was dead on arrival despite marketing’s efforts.
I was getting some serious Only God Forgives vibes from the trailer. While I wasn't much of a fan of that film, it was great to look at and had some interesting ideas. But there was something about the way the trailer was put together for Monkey Man that made it feel like it was intentionally trying to hide something, and now that the cat is out of the bag, much like you, I'll need to remove it from my watchlist.
Never heard of it. Looked it up before I read the article. First thought was who cares about Bollywood, but apparently it’s an “American” movie. I saw Jordan Peele listed as a producer. He’s a raging leftist, so kinda knew what it would be.
They hid it very well in the press materials and the critic reviews.
I don't really need to add to this
I'm so glad I never heard of this dumpster fire until now. My only regret is now I do...
I saw the trailer for it then watched a review.
Got warned ahead of time that the action displayed in the trailers is only the last half hour so it was a bait and switch.
I REALLY hate bait and switches nowadays so try to deceive me in the trailer, I ain't buying/watching it.
This is exactly why I didn't bother with Masters of the Universe: Revelation.
Except all that false advertising was showing the START of the show, before He-Man was killed off and mocked by the so-called heroes for it.

I didn't know there was one. How does it fare compared to the 2002 show, which I love?

Just so we're clear, you're talking about the 2021 Netflix show? The one where Ram-Man is now Ram Ma'am? And I didn't make that name up?

I already feel like John wick is it's own exhausting genre now.
John wick
What if John wick was in suburbia
What if John wick was in ww2
What if John wick was some Indian guy
I'll watch the John Wick main series but the knockoffs are just kind of boring to me.

Is that Ana de Armas’ character, or was that one in a spin-off..?
Not that I’ll bother anyway, but I do enjoy her in some things (although not as Marilyn).
John Woo would like to have a face to face off with you about this Killer idea.

They don't need to, he has a whole unexplored past they can ruin with shitty "prequels".
Plus that lets them ditch Keanu and replace him with some soy twink teen timochalamu lookalike for their bisexual storyline.
Considering Jordan "Ypipo b liek" Peele is working on this movie, it was always going to have Democrat-approved propaganda.
When I saw whose names where attached to it I figured it would be a current year movie
I recently learned that Netflix She-Ra's showrunner, ND Stevenson, was a "transmasculine bigender," and thought "oh God, that explains so much."
Clownfish was right reading She-Ra as a Transgender analogy.
If this is true, then the trailers do a great job of hiding it.
They’re becoming savvier with the bait and switch.
Pick one
Bet they don't show the trannies in the marketing material

People are Sick of being Gaslit into "liking" trash. Fuck this bait and switch.
