Reddit meet ups make people of Walmart look bourgeois in comparison.

In the past witches were burned and a woman didn't speak in public unless explicitly allowed to by her husband and even then only as briefly as possible on a specific topic.

The Salem witch trials killed like 20 people. One of the most overrated historical events in human history.

of literal burnings probably few, stabbings and clubbings probably more

giving a good talking to so the woman in question realized if she kept up her agitation she would wind up in the first or second category, probably very very many

The more I look at Facebook the more I realise it's populated by the worlds accumulated village idiots

The fact that you ever used fb says it all.

And idiots find other idiots to form a little cell. Internet being readily available to be accessed and used by idiots was a mistake.

If we are cynical, the mother will return and request custody the moment the dad starts making any serious money.

If we are being optimistic the mother realizes that she is wrong and will return and take care of the kid.

Realistic, she is going to farm online validation and open a go-fund-me for being a victim of the patriarchy.

Cynicism and realism are the same thing nowadays.

Women in 2010 - Abortion isn't a contraceptive, it's only in specific cases, it's terrifying to even think about it so casually!

Women in 2024 - All relationships are dependent on free access to abortion at all times, and any woman can back out at any time, otherwise you're forcing something on a woman.

Remember that accountability is poison to these people.

This was explored in a film I saw recently (“Eternal”. Danish sci fi. Pretty good), except in that case it was the male partner trying to push the girl into an abortion, which she… Didn’t go through with, and then left him (saying more is spoilers).

He wanted her to do that because he was too ambitious, and thought being a father would “stymie his career/study ambitions”.

It’s quite a complex story/portrayal, but a lot of the movie is him coming to terms with that decision, and the fact that he never got to be around for his son growing up.

But yeah, was an… Interesting take, given that it’s normally the other way around, at least in the Anglosphere…

Funnily enough I went to the Q and A for the premiere, and the director said that the dude was sort of a stand in for himself, as a (now) single dad, and how he felt about stuff, but I didn’t find the character particularly sympathetic, so… Yeah, it was interesting, to say the least.

Employed a sort of “Sliding Doors” - what if -storytelling idea, while also exploring regret…

Child support should start at conception too.

ok, sure?

Advocate for that and watch them be against it too, because it attaches them to the man who now has a say in things.

No, paying doesn't give a person any say. Example : doctors co-pay... Woman says she wants her privacy. She gets it. Delivery room... Woman wants her mother, that's who will be there.

Now AFTER the baby is born I see no point in arguing because it's different state by state, and coparenting 50/50 makes everything a, " miscommunication" in my state. 𝙄, 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙢𝙮 𝙛𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 before me had sole legal, and physical custody of my kids ( did you catch that? Raised by an actual single father). No-one but me had any day over my kids but myself by court decree. You know child support was still required.

Having a say is not relevant.

I was raised by my dad too, after my mom failed to do so... that's not relevant.

But you're kind of proving my point, it's the accountability that's anathema to people who argue for unlimited access to abortion. Good on you for stepping up for your kids.

Abortion is a medical term, and not a single anti abortion law was written by a medical professional. This is a big deal, you can see it in the current events.

100 yrs ago I would have died in labor. The anti abortion laws in some states have taken medicine back there. For everyone. Being pregnant was always a danger to a woman's health. No mothers, no babies. <- the women that want kids tend to have more if they don't die for lack of medical attention.

and she left us

So, a deadbeat mom? She going to pay child support? Will we see her face next to the doxxed deadbeat dads plastered all over feminazi sites? Will the government rob half her paycheck and send it to this dude with zero accountability on how the money gets used? Will they throw her in jail when she falls behind because it's pay child support or starve in her one bedroom shithole apartment?

Somehow I doubt it. She'll get a pussy pass to start over with zero accountability and it'll be up to this single dad to make it on his own.

Yet feminists complain because she was "forced" to finish what she started. Something women do to men every day when they baby trap.

Maybe that person should ask their mother about being forced to give birth.

The only way in which "forced birth" can exist is literally rape. And the cries of rape already fall on deaf ears when it comes to people having sex with those they already acknowledge as partners.

I would be perfectly willing to engage and discuss rape/incest/life of the mother if they were willing to negotiate on the 99% that are purely elective, but they aren't, so neither am I.

Rape isn't "forced birth" and more than a punch in the nose is "forced bleeding".

Don't accept the premise that there are any good reasons to kill babies.

Rape is bad, but so is killing babies. Just because a bad thing happened to a woman (which she may or may not have failed to take reasonable precautions to prevent), it doesn't justify her doing a WORSE thing.

This retarded newspeak is in line with saying "if the child dosen't consent to puberty...".

The people who say this unironically belong in jail.

Every sexual encounter comes with risk of pregnancy and murdering a child is just dodging that responsibility because you didn’t want to take precautions.

Maybe don’t sleep with people you don’t want to procreate with. Women don’t understand this and want “muh sexual freedom” and then get pissy when they can’t kill a baby because a deadbeat knocked them up. YOUR choice began during sex. The baby’s choice begins at conception.
