I used to call these assassinations but since putting politicians in the bottom tier of occupations during Trump's administration, I don't really use the special term for them anymore. It is murder, just of a government official (current or former) to shift power and influence
If I recall, Abe had already stepped down from being Prime Minister (due to "health problems") for what was about a year. But he held a lot of influence over the public, like Trump, because he actually was trying to fix the problems Japan was having while keeping the focus on the nation. It's like putting an old man in a retirement home, sure he has some issues but is mostly fine, and then putting him to death because he talks too much to people outside and motivates them to be better.
They won’t kill Trump. If that was on the table, it would have already happened. This indicates that his untimely death would be a legitimate red line; their simulations point to literal civil war if he is killed.
Assassinating Trump would make him the ultimate martyr for the right. If that doesn't lead to civil war, I don't know what could.
Or even short of civil war, it would very well lead to assassinations of their own political figures. If they truly believe Trump is a "cult leader" then taking him out would mean his more extreme followers will have nothing to lose.
Addendum: I went to the actual document, it was approved for release on April 7th (could be April 8th JST), approximately 3 months (90~91 days assuming Japan time) before Abe died (July 8th).
For it to be approved that specific amount of time in advance gets my noggin' joggin'. Could be a coincidence though.
Japan right now has a growing media industry while the West's is greatly diminishing for an unknown reason (cough woke can't write, draw or act for shit). The American establishment want to subvert Japan to use this growing cultural influence to indoctrinate more than be a escape point like many are using it for now.
They'll constantly tout 'population collapse, population collapse' being honest, China's having a worse population decrease than Japan statistically and Japan is smart enough to use tech like there are rural cafés using robot waiters because they couldn't get enough regular staff.
When AI and automation gets even better, they're in a great position to adopt whereas in the west, you're going to see a labour crisis REALLY soon..
If Japan succumbs to the wokeness, there's nothing that will dissuade me to consider Anglo-west overall as insufferable retards that let the bad actors walk all over them for years instead of just executing them and now they are infecting the country I personally like. Back in 2010, it was noticeable and could have easily been nipped in the buds but I don't know what it was about normies. Were they already fucked in the head due to the overexposure of late night tv shows and their midwit late night hosts? They are finally sort of noticing all the things this year but to me this is just too late and I'm frankly not that happy at all after all the times they could have done something.

I could not gives any less of a fuck about Japan, likewise the middle East, or Europe. But north america really needs to do the same and focus on eradicating left wing regressive ideology and stop caring about what happens to foreigners in foreign countries.
