I mean he’s not wrong, if we actually fired the dead weight in every company it would reduce staff by at least 50%. However I’m assuming he’s not talking about the diversity hires doing “pod meetings” in San Francisco.

Yes, yes, excellent. Create a desperate, impoverished underclass to exploit for power and profit by putting them out of jobs then keeping them alive in exchange for their fealty. What could go wrong?

The 2008 "Great Recession" peaked with an unemployment of 10%.
The Great Depression peaked at 24.9%.

Ignoring the fact that governments would print more money to "stimulate the economy" before shit got that bad, 50% unemployment is failed-state levels of bad. You don't even have a country then, just a rump state pretending to be a country and roaming tribes of bandits beyond the walls.

I think he means in the context of up by 50% from where it currently is. Which is still fucking evil either way, so I mean, guess I'm just splitting hairs at this point.

Blame John Maynard Keynes for making unemployment the only tool for stopping inflation.

YOU'RE NOT WORSHIPPING US ENOUGH, PEASANTS. WE ARE YOUR OVERLORDS. WE ARE THE ELITE. SHOW US THE GRATITUDE WE DESERVE OR SUFFER THE PAIN WE INFLICT ON YOU.

*ahem*

FUUUUUUUuuUuuuuUuuuuUuuUUUUUUUUck you, FAGGOT. And also: kill yourself.

He seems overly confident that the unemployed won't be able to find his bunker and start shitting down the air intakes.

This will be fun to watch.

Well, yeah. When people want 15$ to flip burgers, they are entitled shits and should get fired.

Meh 15 dollars to flip burgers is nothing compared to the six figure salary corpos pay useless women to drink soy lattes and gossip through “meetings”

Burger-flippers do useful work and add value. These others types subtract value.

Just import more cheapo day laborers. Half the cost and a quarter the quality. 👌

The argument in far right circles is that the elites will crash the whole economy in the name of greed before then. They talk about the broader civilization being lucky if indoor plumbing remains standard, given the level of competence crisis that's coming.

Given the douchenozzle attitude displayed in the video above? They have a point.

There's been a chronic shortage of such people in Western Europe for ages now, despite masses of Polish folks and other people from Eastern Europe coming in and picking up part of the slack.

Even with a doubling of unemployment, they're not going to feel the crunch.

Eastern Europeans come to the US and do this work too. Our immigration policy simply favors Indian"engineers" over Polish tradesmen.

Oh tradies are gonna be even scarcer. Nobody wants to.do that work, no offense. So it costs a lot. And then kids just aren't starting as much so there will be a continued shortage as old masters retire.

The tradesmen that I talk to want to be computer programmers. Honestly you'd have to ask them, but maybe it has something to do with the fact that computer programmers work in a cool office all day. I have heard the old timers of course complain that the younger ones are soft. But this is far from my area of knowledge

It could be a grass is always greener type thing. Sometimes I am envious that they make shit in that way for a living, but everybody hates it in the ass heat or cold. Mainly the heat for me. I came out Nordic. Even tho I'm only half that.

Inflation caused by the globalists has fucked us.

I guarantee that it was easier to get by flipping burgers in the 90s at $7 an hour, than today at $15.

I agree. But paying people more doesn't solve the problem, especially for menial jobs. It just compounds it.

Boomers like to talk about how "entitled" employees are, but they don't hold a candle to the sense of entitlement guys like this have.

We demand an endless supply of workers willing to take the pittance we're offering, and if that endless supply of workers doesn't exist, then by god we're going to tank the economy and import endless hordes until we get it!

Certainly a lot of people who work inside air conditioned buildings would always do well to put out honest effort. Same time, employers in those buildings should do better equally. And fire all divisive pricks with strange hair and politics.

But go pound sand for being mad at the tradies who don't work in air conditioning.

Comment Reported for: Rule 2 - Violent Speech

"It" could be a couple things, but considering how infuriating this man is, I suspect this is a rule 2 violation.
