Collectivists ignorantly think that individuating people is a problem because they can't tell the difference between individualism and atomitization. Individualism requires someone's scope of responsibility to be limited down to the smallest level that they can control. Then, as they become more mature, they can expand up their responsibility. You have to recognize that as chaos is an emergent property of order, it is also true that order is an emergent property of chaos.
