Thing is, how exactly was suppose the insurrection to work? You had some people with zip ties. Lets say that they somehow use those to restrain every one there. Then Trump goes in and declares himself emperor of US, then what? He is not magically granted the title of emperor, he has no army behind him.
Second if he wanted to be dictator how come he did not become one during Covid, like power hungry leftists in Australia, New-Zeland and Canada?
Trump accepted the results of the election, but Trudeau literally suspended the constitution... and Trump's the dictator.
Don't forget Midget Mussolini Zelensky also 'postponing elections until the war is over.'
We are living in an era of dictators.
Zelenskyy™.
Dude trademarked his own name...
So did the Fascist dictator of New Zealand.
In fact, Trump's generals were overwhelmingly opposed to him, to the point of openly siding with communist rioters. If it had somehow been an actual insurrection and not spontaneous unguided tours of the Capitol then Mike Pence and Nancy Pelosi would have gleefully let Mark Milley send in hundreds of soldiers to execute everybody there.
Rioters? They had atleast one General in the army directly colluding with China, breathlessly reassuring them that he'd immediately go running to them if Trump so much as breathed in the wrong direction.
Nevermind them directly admitting they were openly lying about troop deployment numbers, so who knows what else they won't admit to.
With no ties to the military himself, he didn't know who would be loyal to the constitution or not. There was someone who could help, but Pence made Flynn nuclear and Trump, not understanding he was being rope-a-doped from making any smart changes in the brass, wouldn't reach out to him.
This is what was so frustrating about it all. Trump talked the talk and walked the walk where he could but in places he could not he simply did nothing instead. Half measures result in the obvious outcome: traitors maintain control while his giant blind spot provided a breeding ground for even more sedition.
This just shows how bad Orange Man really was! But he was also still a dictator, somehow!
Even with all the evidence disproving the idea, they won't believe it. They want to believe Trump is horrific, because it excuses them of their insanity.
The zip ties were already in the building
They don't believe it, they lie because doing so grants them power. Anyone with two brain cells to rub together knows Trump wasn't a dictator, because he refused to use even reasonable authority to crush the organised crime syndicate setting fire to American cities, or to arrest the Democrats deliberately killing the elderly by the thousand to provide cover for their insurrection.
If you look at El Salvador you can plainly see that Trump sending in a battalion of Marines to CHAZ with live fire authorization would have been wildly popular and enthusiastically supported by almost every real American in the country.
And the Emperor, er Governor would have ordered state troops to stop it.
He probably would have actually won the election fraud or not by doing that just once or twice.
Honestly, the Insurrection Act was a trap from the beginning. Some people on the right couldn't fucking figure it out.
We had a test run of this with the March 29th insurrection and the attack on the White House. "Senior Military Officials" (read: Gen. Milley) explicitly stated that any use of the National Guard in DC would be met with open resistance from the pentagon and DOD. Including ordering troops not to be sent in contradiction to the president's orders. The fact that the WH was attacked, multiple parts of the city were burning, and a historic church had been set on fire were irrelevant. The media berated him for being weak and "hiding in a bunker from protestors", while over 400 LE were injured, and including many Secret Service agents. When Trump finally sent in federal police, the media called it a dictatorial action, and Milley publicly condemned him.
In Oregon, the mayor of Portland explicitly supported terrorism against a federal court house. The state itself was in an insurrection if you had been paying attention to the legal documents. The state attorney general kept trying to force federal agents out of the building to burn it down and kill everyone inside. They filed a lawsuit against the federal government because the feds erected that steel fence to protect the court house, and weren't allowed to actually go out into the street by the government. They tried to have a judge order the feds to immediately remove the fence so that the building and it's occupants could be attacked with no defensive structures.
The Dems wanted nothing more than to hit Trump with an insurrection and a military coup. They did, but quite literally at the last minute. All to keep him from running again, possibly to kill him.
To be honest, I've never seen anything like this in history. The left has never swung for the fences so fucking hard on anyone before. I'm a fan of Goldwater, and there was nothing like this against him. They didn't do this to Nixon. FFS, the political Left didn't go this hard against the fucking Bourbon Restoration.
This is why I still suspect we will see the machine-gunning of Trump supporters, because a large contingent of them will simply be declared to be an insurrection, and someone's going to just open up on them. Remember that Pelosi ordered M240 LMG's deployed... against unarmed protestors. It's only a matter of time.
I think that this overconfident attitude will end up biting the right in the ass if such a scenario actually does play out.
It actually scares me. The red guard riots and great leap forward is all I have to compare it to. The treatment of the common man is usually followed by 'and then it collapsed in 70 years '. These are people willing to destroy everything for their own power and glory.
2024 is going to bring horrors we've never imagined.
It's already brought Whores we couldn't imagine.
Nah, you'll see everything we've seen in China, Cambodia, and previously even in the US, so long as you've read an honest accounting of Communist actions.
I wanted to screen grab what usually sane friends were saying about this, and then decided not to. They truly believe Trump was going to use the military to take over the country.
TDS manifested well before Hillary lost if you're regularly exposed to online communists, but you're right that it really flared up right after that.
They blocked the streets so many times it became part of the traffic report.
I'm shocked by how many friends are openly talking about military insurrection to 'save the democracy'.
You either have to cut yourself off from mainstream public websites and apps for good or maintain an anonymous persona that's completely disconnected from anything that can be used to hurt you. Isolated accounts in different VMs with different operating systems/browser versions/VPNs (if paid, paid with crypto that's never been connected to an exchange where you had to doxx yourself), feeding posts into a translator and back to change the grammar, maintaining strict discipline about never mentioning things like local weather or traffic and not following your local politicians, etc. Obviously no private messages, group chats, or messaging apps because you'll slip there no matter how hard you try. This still won't be enough, but it'll make it slightly harder for troon terrorism to affect you or your family.
at this point i wish he had
Visceral: Being or arising from impulse or sudden emotion rather than from thought or deliberation
These faggots can’t even make a description without coming across as pathetic self owning faggots
I wish Trump had been the dictator the Left constantly accuses him of being.
Amen to that, fuck those animal's.
This is one of the guys we purged from the Libertarian Party recently. God, what a cringe lord.
That explains a bit. The people posting him are Libertarians in Seattle and Portland.
doesn't matter, fraudulent election
And I remember the media outlets were upset because people didn’t care about the hearings.
Except in lefty town, where they were following it like the world cup.
I still remember my neighbor saying she stayed home from work that night to watch the first prime time hearing. She said after 20 minutes of watching, she knew she made a mistake.
Even the viewer panels CNN or MSNBC had on really turned against the event "you say you have all this proof, you had 2 hours to show it, why would I tune in next time?"
It's like Sunday night RAW with all sorts of names flashing, and all they do is appear for five seconds in the crowds and smile. Then it's the mine vs the ventriloquist in a legal discussion on yodeling in the public parks.
When you find out Reality TV is scripted, and not as real as you want...
True. I guess it wasn’t enough for the ratings. I think they expected it to get massive ratings
I agree. Even the left treat it like a team they support but aren't really into.
leftists are always very delusional
