This is something I've tried to keep track of casually but I always feel like I'm forgetting some. Off the top of my head:
The Little Mermaid
Triss Merrigold
Velma
Starfire
Annie the Orphan
I'm sure there are more. Who am I missing?

They did it in that ugly looking Rise of the TMNT show first.
Once you go black, etc, etc.
A websearch for "redhead raceswap infographic" yielded several hits, they look roughly like this.
I doubt there's a comprehensive list of these, but there's plenty of meme fodder to help people notice the trend.
That's what I've mostly found as well. Lots of memes but nothing comprehensive. The autist in me is bugged by that.
Me too. Noticing white racial erasure is ascribed as racist, though, so it's about what I expect.
Give it a year or two and we'll see the live action cast of a Brave adaptation as Sub-Saharan.
“Don’t let anyone tell you different. The Scottish Highlands are in Africa!” [Points to somewhere in Asia, because reading maps is too white.]
Want to bet that it would be some black American saying that while actual Africans with a hand on their face will be going 'just shut the fuck up, just stop talking..'
The accents will change to Hawaiian pidgin.
Brave?
The pixar animation based in Scotland, main character is a redhead girl
Oh, that sounds like a character that would be a stronk blaq womyn
Jimmy Olsen
I'm still in the process of backing up/rehosting my shadowbanned Imgur albums (90% complete), but here:

Great work.
Eww. It's like some evil alien tried to LARP as a human but failed.
How the heck did I forget Mary Jane? In my defense, I haven't seen a marvel movie since Age of Ultron.
Ah, but they tried to get around that by changing her name.
Still MJ, but they changed the character's name to Michelle something. Well in the Sony movies, at least.
Indians aren't Asian.
Ironically DrJester was doing just that with his "Wokewashing" list which included various other changes and not just redhead > black.
Edit: old list from 22/Jun/2021, first group is blackwashing:

I may go through this later and provide an in thread post but have things to do for the next hour.
It's been 11 hours, he ded.
Can confirm.
RIP in peace
Should be easy to pull up. I’ve seen a comprehensive meme with all of them
I don't know how many, but I do have some speculation on why. Red heads were always the lesser in English society. So, a sign of poverty or lower class would be to give them red hair. It doesn't help that various artists were of that lower class anyway. Thor is traditionally red haired to match with the working class, but he was changed to blonde in comics and shows.
Decades later and redheads are seen as equals. So, the people creating things need to prove the character is lower class. The best answer is make them black.
Personally I'm a fan of the dyslexia theory.
I haven't heard it, do tell.
I mean the old joke that they keep misreading ginger as nigger.
Ohhhh... I see.

Wow
That is an interesting theory I’ve not heard before. I think there is some merit to it.
