If we do have AC in central to northern Europe it is because we have dual function heatpumps for heating and cooling, but most people don't even use the AC function in the summer. Most of the percentage who have AC are the Mediterranean countries.
They won't even turn on the central AC in the apartment unless the internal temperate goes over 28C for an extend period of time in the summer, that's 82F.

IDK we've had a very normal rainy and cool July here in Sweden, May and June were pretty dry and quite hot at times, but nothing too unusual in my experience.
Looks like August will continue the trend of raining at least 3 days a week, which is normal.
The news in mid June was going crazy about how the price of food will soar in the autumn due to failed harvests and bla bla bla.

A friend is in charge of operations at a big theme park. He said the biggest rule he ever hated was masks worn by employees in the middle of the summer. This was Florida BTW.
