Don’t ever, ever, ever in your life as a Black person take anything for granted. I told you before, when white folks catch a cold, Black folks catch pneumonia
white [...] Black
assholes
But it's nice that you state it how you see it. I mean, when i have two groups and one has a utterly worse outcome than the other, I'd look what the fuck it is, that this group does wrong. But you don't want to do that. You want that the outcome for others is changed, so you stop feeling bad for being inferior.
He's been making a near 20 year career as an ESPN host built on the foundation of using the race card. It's what he's known for. He pulls the race card more than you'd expect a woman on The View to be a leftist. Not surprising at all. They could fire every white person from ESPN and he'd find some reason to pull the black race card.
I would’ve been shocked if he didn’t bring up race. Modern day espn hosts are all about race/gender/sexuality. I used to watch a lot of expenses shows until it turned into msnbc with some sports sprinkled in
I'm a huge Jokic fan (he's just fun to watch) and his domination of the playoffs this year was nothing short of historic. It's worth remembering that the league MVP is a regular season award, though.
Even so, he deserved to win that this year, too. And he would have probably gotten it too... if he hadn't won it the prior two years. MVP voters seem to be really allergic to giving out the three-peat. It hasn't happened since Larry Bird in the early eighties and only 3 times in league history (Russell, Chamberlain, Bird). That's right, not even Jorden, Magic, Kobe or Lebron were 3-peat MVPs.
I don’t much mind who wins individual awards in team games, but what I also noticed, and which felt very insidious, was the level to which media talking heads tried to downplay the Nuggets’ championship, claiming their playoff opponents were easy - like it’s their fault the favorites in the East couldn’t make the Finals. I know they wouldn’t say that about a team led by LeBron instead of by a white guy. I notice a similar need to be ostentatious among football media figures whenever Lamar Jackson is discussed. The dude’s undoubtedly in the top-10 QBs right now, most probably in that 6-10 range, but they talk him up like he’s right there with Mahomes. There is a QB in Jackson’s own division who has been to the Super Bowl and won five playoff games in two years, while Jackson has a grand total of one career playoff victory, but because that other QB is white some (not all but a fair number) of commentators act like it’s debatable as to which of them is better. I should probably care less, but it’s irritating when the media abandons all sense in favor of socially-acceptable feels.

I didn't even notice, and I actively look for things like this. this is so insidious.
Being black is the only reason Smith wasn’t laid off.
He needs to be laid out not off. He's an obnoxious midget that talks like he's never been punched in the mouth
It’s also because First Take is the show with the highest ratings
"Ratings" is not something they give a shit about anymore.
He's been a race baiting fucknuts for at least twenty years that I know of. Don't know why it's a surprise to anyone.
I hate the word "folks".

When you turn victimhood into a virtue this is what you get.
So... superior immune system in their genetics?
The fuck? The common cold and pneumonia are caused by completely different pathogens.
What a jackass. Smith, not you.

I randomly flipped to ESPN the other day and they have a bald black chick who wears full on clown makeup hosting SportsCenter lmao
If there was ever a channel created for guys espn was it. Clown world
Of course you'd like your bosses to keep paying bad anchors. It makes you look good.
Which reminds me that race baiter, Kendrick Perkins who spearheaded the anti-Jokic campaign, is still employed.
but doing everything you can to help your team win, like passing to them when they’re open, is stat padding!
