So I know everyone is sick of hearing about this story, but I think this video is quite illuminating.
Sometimes it's not just company executives consciously choosing to be subversive (at the cost of losing money), or being blackmailed to do this via various non-government initiatives like CEI scores. Sometimes it's a single executive who actually thinks doing this would be a success, because they're an idiot and/or a True Believer.
Most of the time we can only guess at what actually transpired, but this time we have it on video.
they immediately think of 90's era stereotypes of republicans sitting around a table smoking cigars thinking about how they can ruin the environment and oppress the gays and women.
This is an extremely important part of the equation.
Let me ask everyone a rhetorical question. Have you ever met a leftist who wasn't up to their eyeballs in propaganda, virtually 24 hours a day? Whether it's the "news", Hollywood woke garbage, social media psy ops, etc? I say "rhetorical" because I already know the answer: no. All leftists live in a hyperreality. All of them, without exception. Most of them live in a badly written movie where the left is The Good Guys, but many of the older ones live in a perpetual documentary about the rise of the Nazi party.
Hyperreality is absolutely crucial to the survival of leftism, which is why they're putting almost all of their effort into propaganda. The actual ruling leftist parties themselves barely do anything at all. They rarely pass laws of substance unless they're propaganda-oriented. It's easier to construct a false reality, force people to live in it, then let nature take its course.
I have a distinct memory of college and some girl being so upset Republicans won an election that she was crying. "How can people vote for evil?" I remember her wailing.
Even then, as a dumb little 19 year old, I remember thinking "people aren't evil just because I disagree with them..."
We all have to understand that it doesn't matter. They are the good guys in their little fairy tale. They have already convinced themselves of their own virtue, and everyone who doesn't see it their way is evil.
You can't win.
Let them burn in their own shit heap. Most of them won't even get it when it literally hits them upside the head. Think of that 'anarchist baker' who was on this page recently. She was killed for her stupid beliefs. She didn't have any "aha" moment. Most of them never will.
And the ones that do will voiciferously deny they ever believed it.
i'm not sure she even is a true believer. her body language gives off a lot of signs of not being genuine in her language. this comes off as running with the least terrible excuse, and now she will use ESG/DEI as a sword in the media, claiming wrongful termination.
when in reality, there are fucking ways to do market research, and pro-trans sentiment is not popular at all. it's neither popular with the budweiser core customer base, nor the adjacent customer bases they're looking to attract. these giant brands were infiltrated by activists, and the fed issued trillions of dollars to blackrock and their marxist CEO to buy up board seats at these companies, so that they can push these extreme viewpoints that really just aren't popular. their goal is that by pushing this shit, pew/gallup are admitting the public estimates over 25% of the population to be PLGBT, when it's not even 5% in reality. and zoomers are talking about that shit for fashion, because they're suffering from endless indoctrination, and some are fearful because anyone who doesn't staunchly hold up their race card or PLGBT card is outright bullied..
I pulled up an old Spuds Mackenzie commercial from the 80s with people at the beach drinking beer and having a good time. Women in bikinis too. It’s like they understood who their customers were.
Also I hate the framing off this “use their voice”. I’m sure if Bud lite came out as strongly pro life then they wouldn’t be respected for using their voice
What bothers me most about "use their voice" is that it isn't "their" voice. The people that turned a simple brewery into a giant [previously] successful beverage powerhouse would never push propaganda. They wouldn't use their voice for literally anything that wasn't furthering the business, as it should be.
Woke hires are just shoving their arms into the puppet and flapping it's mouth while spouting nonsense and calling it meaningful.
Is it time yet when they realize that all this Pride garbage isn't inclusive?
Most people want nothing to do with it but put up with it because it's easier than arguing. Now they have no choice but to argue so everyone rejects it.
If you actually want to be inclusive, you should be un-politically patriotic, simple as.

Quite the contrary; I never tire of hearing woke companies fail.

Hit the nail on the head like a master carpenter.

It's not so much the true believers that are dangerous, it's the atmosphere where it's too dangerous to call them stupid.

Looks like a rodent.
Rodentia internet defense force down voted this
Are they wrong? How would you feel if you were compared to a creature like this?
Physiognomy's been on a roll the past few years.
What an unfair comparison.
One is a dirty, disgusting animal that spread contagion, while the other one is a rodent.
I always wonder why they all have gigantic teef…
Let's include perverted psychopaths into our marketing.

The barn called, they want their horse back.
the level of incompetence here is staggering
Hmm I wonder if isms/phobia/climate change is to blame
How many seconds does she go before citing that as the reason?
Such a shame the Imp isn't here to fight with the Stormfags about whether da Jooz or wahmen are the root of all evil.
So they're confirmed fired now? Good to hear. Why did it take them so long, and why have they not made a proper apology?
No - not confirmed.
(at least as of the time I opened this thread, and unless I missed something)
