When people say they support gay "rights" they mean it, for GAY people. Not for THEMSELVES. Straight people don't want to open their front door and see men in bondage gear whipping and sodomizing each other.
Most people are fine with homos existing as long as they never see them or have to think about them. Gays actually had it pretty good just 5-10 years ago, you could be openly gay and no one cared.
