The progressivism isn’t the problem. It’s the artlessness of it that is. The TOS episode with the white & black aliens is considered one the the most lazily crafted allegories on television, yet it’s still more subtle than anything they’ve put out since 2017.

If progressive means that 'women can do no wrong' then that's about right as I remember for years how (correctly) Janeway was referred to as a war criminal that you had the former insurgents going 'bitch chill it with the genocides!'
On the otherside, DS9 and to some extent Enterprise showed how 'progressive' policy will always be shelved for pragmatism when shit hits the fan.

"Progressive" is context-sensitive. Today's "progressives" are degenerates wanting to destroy the society built by yesterday's "progressives."
Progressive because, what, you don't want society to progress or something? You're holding back the species, man. Why, yes, progressing as a society means communism, duh.
And fans in quotes means someone who likes something but they criticize it in defiance of BUY NEW PRODUCT then they're not a real fan but instead entitled man baby -ists and -phobes.

I've never removed a comment for anyone being identified as a jew or possibly jewish.
That was like his tamest comment generally. He said DS9 invokes three different Jewish stereotypes with three different alien races, the Ferengi merchants, the peaceful Bajorans, and the Cardassian occupation.
It wasn't just a comparison of stereotypes, it was that he specifically pointed out that they were the Dominion, as a race.
