We know that attractiveness is a real social privilege that seems to be fundamentally innate. I can very easily imagine that women (particularly in sales) have massive incentives to be attractive and friendly, and this effects their productivity.

I suppose the actual strategy here will be to convince society to transfer the earnings disadvantages of fat women onto short men, as they’ve successfully done re: social disadvantages. Weight is an indicator of discipline. People who put more effort into their work likely will put more effort into their weight. This is especially true for women because women get a much better return on effort put into their look by being skinny than men do. Women that are overweight are some of the most despicable people out there.
And there is a beauty bias and a height bias (for men) in the workforce.
Don't cry about it, accept it, cause nothing will change other people's perception. And then change the things that you can change - like losing weight.
