I'm sure those "studies" are as reliable as the UN's notoriously "well-cited" statistics.

Seriously. These imbeciles and their "studies" are so fucking tiresome.

They are seriously saying that they controlled for every other factor here? They are seriously saying that they controlled everything else, and the only difference between these men and women who had earning disparity was weight?

Bullshit. They are doing what the fucking left always does. They have something in mind they think is true, and they set out to craft some study/data that supposedly "proves" it.

Fuck off.

High earning women don't allow themselves to be fat. They have gym memberships, they have personal trainers, they have doctors.

Whenever I see some online hottie who's 30 or even 40+ years old still in shape, she's a gym rat with a six figure job.

Honestly, you have to be a moron to let yourself get fat as a woman, because there is just so much social privilege for you to capitalize on by simply being fit and healthy.

Honestly, female attractiveness genuinely seems to have a very dynamic effect on the environment.

Just did a training with one of the trainees was a very well-kept woman in her 40's with a bubbly personality. No one hit on her, but she genuinely improved the morale of all of the men in the room. Since she was bubbly, even the women didn't mind.

We know that attractiveness is a real social privilege that seems to be fundamentally innate. I can very easily imagine that women (particularly in sales) have massive incentives to be attractive and friendly, and this effects their productivity.

No one hit on her

Women only improve male groups if

A: all of the men agree she is off-limits.

B: she lets them run a train on her and doesn't play favorites.

Very few women who are tolerable are mentally male enough to be capable of B.

Thank god.

It was A

This.

Super high earning men, or super high earning women are people that are driven to be that, and they maximize doing the stuff that will get them there.

To any woman that isn't absolutely retarded (or a radical leftist activist, but I repeat myself), it is readily apparent that being as thin/attractive as you can be is a massive boost to your entire life - including making money.

She recounts this incident in her memoir "Good Power," released last month. She actually gained weight after that conversation, so her weight didn't hinder her own career. But Rometty acknowledges that women are judged more harshly than men on appearance in the workplace, and she laments that nothing has changed

Bold faced lie, you open with a counter example then say but women most affected!

"Heavier women tend to earn less," the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis said in a 2011 report, which analyzed the results of multiple studies on the topic. "These penalties have not only increased over the past few decades, but continue to increase as women age."

And morbidly obese women tend to be black, Hispanic, and on multiple government assistance programs. It’s the same reason they have higher pregnancy complications for “minorities”.

However, men don't seem to face a similar weight bias. Some studies even found that white males seen as overweight actually earn more. However, the wage penalty for women seen as overweight was consistent in each study.

Because the measurement scale for men is beyond retarded. I’m 6’1 and 225, which classifies me as “obese” I also can still bench 365 and workout regularly. They literally do not account for muscle which men have on AVERAGE 40% more than women.

Economist David Lempert, who worked for the U.S. government for over a decade, found in his analysis that an increase of 10% in a woman's body mass decreased her income by 6%. This wage cut comes on top of the fact that women already earn 20% less on average than men in the U.S.

Ah yes the 70 cents on the dollar argument that’s another bold faced lie.

Okay...

There were weighted studies. Sorry, couldn't resist.

"These penalties...

Huge fucking citation needed from these jackasses. Talk about begging the question. And causation/correlation.

Talk about begging the question. And causation/correlation.

Seems about par for academia these days.

"Women with demonstrably poor impulse control are also found to be less valuable employees. The only possible explanation is misogyny!"

And not one peer reviewer though to ask which came first: The egg shaped fatass or the six roast chickens she couldn't stop herself from eating? Because their peers are also ideologues and fuckwits.

Then lose weight. Holy shit it is so easy to be a hot woman that it's fucking laughable. Here are the steps:

  1. Make a genetics saving throw to avoid profound disfigurement
  2. Basic hygene.
  3. Don't have rolls of fat.

Congrats, you are now set for the ages of 18-35

If you follow step 4, you're set for the age of 36-80 as well.

  1. Refuse the impulse to monkey-branch and settle down with a guy in your league.

Thing is, at least a male with a bit of extra mass can have at least some reliable muscle and bone-density to back it up. The results are that they're less vulnerable to looking outright grotesque and the weight isn't always a hindrance to physical capability and performance.

Can't easily say the same about obese women though.

Even “skinny” women ask me about workout advice because they feel flabby and want to tone up. Men could have an extra thirty pounds over the “obesity” line while looking statuesque. Women don’t have that luxury due to frame size.

Exactly. Like yeah, one could say it's "unfair", but the reality is that it's just how the physics and biology play out. They may as well blame evolution for such a small stroke of bad luck.

Well yes, that was the unsaid point I was alluding to. They can't do much to change the hand they were dealt, so they may as well adapt and keep off the weight. Trying to force everyone else to change is more of an uphill battle that ultimately accomplishes very little.

Could it be because women do less work and cause more problems?

Nah, can't be

Because modern women, and people in general, are shallow and lazy and useless, feel purposeless, and want to be validated, but refuse to put in the work.

I suppose the actual strategy here will be to convince society to transfer the earnings disadvantages of fat women onto short men, as they’ve successfully done re: social disadvantages. Because it isn’t that they want a blind and equal society, but to move up the ladder and take their turn shitting on someone else.

Weight is an indicator of discipline. People who put more effort into their work likely will put more effort into their weight. This is especially true for women because women get a much better return on effort put into their look by being skinny than men do. Women that are overweight are some of the most despicable people out there.

And there is a beauty bias and a height bias (for men) in the workforce.
Don't cry about it, accept it, cause nothing will change other people's perception. And then change the things that you can change - like losing weight.

Here's the key to understanding the language.

If they don't blame men, they know this is the fault of other women.

There was a whole thing about male managers - having experience with attractive women - preferrring less attractive women as employees. So much less drama. Mediocre looking a women find it much more difficult to skate by just on their looks, they're there for the same reason as the men - because contribute actual work.
