Literally every act of political violence ever is blamed on white Republicans, incels, and The Proud Boys. Read a news story last week about a uni student's union that had tried to pass a vegan menu through and lost the student vote for it. The "concession" speech from the SU was pretty much nothing but gaslighting and direct criticism of the students and how democracy was failing, which tbh sounds precisely how I remember a SU behaving drunk on power.
