The phrase "future brides of the state" comes to mind as I read this. Once they reach maturity, they are already married to the ideology, faithful to the party, and mothers to the next batch of indoctrinated children.

I'm from the Northwest, went to a gifted school, and worked around the artsy scene.
Oof, here all my exposure to this stupidity is from dealing with women on charity boards and the misfortune of thinking a medical degree would weed out the vapid and indolent.
Bad call on the medical thing, it's full of Bureaucracy and that means crazy people who like playing politics.
The fact that I got out of the mind set is the miracle to me.
It’s the reason I switched from hospital to research. Hospitals spend 20 billion each year on just making administrative changes to keep up with the new government regulations, not to mention the forced costs of Medicare/medicaid regulation changes, the billing costs etc. the reason hospitals are conglomerating isn’t to provide better healthcare access it’s to stay ahead of the inevitable forced bankruptcy due to the state/ federal regulations.
Those regulation changes can mean a successful doctor is suddenly broke. I watched it happen to one. He ran a practice in Yakima and spoke Spanish. He made a killing with medical coupons, and then the regulations changed and he was gone.
From a tech business point of view, the entire medical industry is ripe for disruption, but they keep making regulations to keep the big names in power. I'm expecting WiFi and low level xRay tech to get hobbyists for medical scans and watch it all fall down.
I should make a post this week discussing the left's obsession with sexualization, so long as it can be made into a fetish, the left will allow ANYTHING.

The justification for keeping them separate would be to protect women from rape, but since they're kids, the boys aren't actually capable of rape, so therefore it's an invalid argument for sex segregation.
But it's a moot point because I'm pretty sure they allow boys already.

It's never been a girl version of the boy scouts. That follows from a misunderstanding of the scouting movement.
Many people who would put their boys in boy scouts (well, used to) never would have liked the girl scouts very much if they were paying attention.
My favorite Girl Scout cookies are just Ritz crackers with peanut butter atop them and chocolate covering it all.

Very different. Mexican candy is often sour or bitter. Argentines prefer creamy and smooth. From what I've been told Mexicans have a version of Dulce de Leche, but call it something else.
