Based on the first pic, I was about to say he wasn't so bad; not impressive, but not bad. But that second picture...just looking at it makes me unsettled and a bit sad.
If you can find insurance that covers that, sure. If that is a thing it's rare as fuck. The closest thing I've seen is coverage for chiropractic care, and that's pretty limited. Interesting idea though. It would be amazing if we could figure out a way to get insurance to pay for hookers.
There are a lot of laws and rules in the licensing process for therapists for this very thing, because it happens all the time. As stupid as it all sounds, he has a pretty strong case simply because its a well documented thing that therapists are specifically warned of and trained to not do.
Even if you don't agree with the "privileged and vulnerable position" idea that she abused her power over him by allowing it to happen, she was still under professional and legal obligation to deny and immediately transfer him to a different therapist.
At least he got something out of therapy, which is more than most men can say. Shame the cost/benefit ratio was so terrible. As someone else said he should have just hired a hooker.
Michael Pollack claims psychologist Heidi Kling "seduced" him by being constantly available
Pollack: Hey, I'm having some problems, can I make an appointment?
Kling: Sure, I think there's an empty spot tomorrow.
Pollack: FUCK YOU FOR BEING CONSTANTLY AVAILABLE.
Jesus Fucking Christ she wasn't even YOUNGER.
What the hell is wrong with hedge fund managers in NYC, are they all this pathetic?
I mean, look at the guy, it’s sad enough we call these feminized creatures male to begin with.

He looks like an ordinary British guy in the second pic.
Exactly.
Nah, jokes aside, there's just something about his narrow face, droopy eyes, and too-red lips combined with stubble that gives a really weird vibe.
It looks like somebody tried to make a Neil Breen sex doll.
There is a reason rich men are usually the ones who like to be degraded during sex.
He was sexually abused by his shrink.
She held a privileged position of power over someone in a vulnerable situation.
Yeah, like if even one set of details from this story are completely true she is both morally horrible and legally fucked.
Though if that second therapist encouraged it to that extent, he is likely also on the hook and I suspect the one who pushed it from the start.
And wouldn't surprise me in the least if he had a similar relationship with his "mentee" -- grooming isn't just for kids.
It would have been cheaper to get a hooker, and probably more therapeutic too.
Yeah, unfortunately insurance doesn't cover whores.
What if I try the old Asian method of labelling them as 'masseuse'?

Nah it seems like he paid about what a hooker probably costs in NYC unless you want a nasty ho. But I'll give you that it would be less trouble.

miss kling's nose, desire for money, and freudian mind manipulation is sus.
(((Kling)))

Therapy really is for the weak.
Therapists want you coming back. A patient cured is a customer lost.
Only those who do it for free have your interest in mind. Family, friends, etc.
Or churches. Confession and all that.
