The name itself was a product of Nazi ideology, as many other terms used by the Nazis incorporated the term 'Volk' - e.g. Ein Volk, Ein Reich, Ein Testikel, Volksgenosse, Volkssturm.
He has seized the greatest propaganda tool the liberal world order had, and all indications are he's not going to let them keep using it for their purposes. This reaction is both punishment and show of force.
I think they are still giving him a chance to "see the light" and give them what they want (direct access to set moderation policy and acceptable trending topics), but that wouldn't be good for the rest of us.
which is funny because all companies who made diesel cars were found out for similar cheating emissions but VW and the "Diesel Gate" name tightly bound to VW are all anyone remembers.. It tells me the revised diesel emissions regulations were too strict if no [maybe one or two] manufacturers could meet them.
I thought all the other diesel manufacturers made people put in "blue junk" along with their fuel in order to cut emissions, but VW was claiming they had a way around needing that?
i literally do not give a shit. The GLI/GTI is the perfect vehicle for someone who wants an upscale small sedan/hatch and "everything a little bit nicer". And I still want a Baja Bug with a V8 hanging off its ass.
Every company over a long enough time frame has black marks in its history.
almost like all 15 year old cars break down or something. Or are you specifically talking about the coil pack issues VW had in their 2000-2005 engines?
lol, sure buddy. as if all cars arent about the same level of "over engineered junk" when you compare them at class/price points.
A Chevy Spark doesnt have enough "stuff" in it to be considered over engineered but a Cadillac CTS, a luxury/sports sedan, sure as shit does when compared to an Audi A6 or BMW 5 Series, both which are also luxury/sports sedans.
Alot of national industries got nationalized during WW2. LuftHansa, Hugo Boss, Messerschmitt, Krupp, Henschel, Porsche for the Nazis, Mutsubishi and Nakajima Aircraft Company (which became Subaru) for the Japanese. Even Ford was partly nationalised in the US despite being a thing socialist governments do, the very people they were fighting.
Point is that when you have a manufacturing sector like in Germany and you have a party with the strength to force them into the war effort, there's not a whole lot the company can do to not comply.
Modern day Volkswagon pulling ads is just a virtue signal.
Nobody seems to get butthurt at Mitsubishi for manufacturing the planes the Japs used to bomb the US. Only at companies that worked for the Germans. I wonder why?
At least it shows how much leftism supports leftism. The only reason volswagen was buying adds was to support woke ideology, not profit.

The name even means "the people's car."
"Volk" -> "Folks" in english.
When they're groups of on "folks" groups, it's interesting to keep in mind it's literally the pattern as the nazis.
Considering yourself a member of a group is Nazism, unless you're Jewish. That's allowed.
Why pull their ads? Musk isn’t doing anything unusual

vw's ad masters are flexing their power
Vw got into shit about lying about their emissions. Its not the first time the krauts have done that.

I dont know the history, but DEF is the "blue junk" i think you are talking about.
Chrysler/Dodge, MB, BMW, Toyota, GM were all found to be cheating Diesel emissions.
so
"Volkswagon are the real anti-semites."

lol. i accept your concession statement.
The holocaust didnt happen and you only believe propaganda told by the Soviets. Retards.

DId you know all people responsible for that shit have likely died out by now and all that's left is name only?
IIRC, literally founded by hitler.
