The first game's story was ok for a videogame. Not good enough for non-interactive media. I'm sure they will faggot it up extra and are just capitalizing on the huge group of people who sit around jacking off to whatever game Sony puts out no matter what it is.
It was very good timing. Right at the end of the PS3's life cycle to get the most of its graphics too. By the 2nd game Druckmann realized he could inject as much political commentary as he felt like, no longer needing to tell a compelling story. I highly suggest people watch American Krogan's video on the 2nd game and part 2.
