Finland is literally the EU's only uranium producer and are able to get 35% of their power needs with two plants. They could likely power their entire country with less than 10 reactors fueled by uranium dug out from their own country.
The story about Russia cutting off it's electricity production into Finland is basically a non-story. Russia accounted for roughly 10% of Finland's electricity consumption. Not much and easily recoverable.
The bigger story however is the rupture between the two countries. Finland and Russia share a great deal of history. One that's made Finland skeptical of Russia. And with the Ukraine conflict ongoing, Finland's going to look to the West for support. Mainly Sweden, which relations with are understandably better (at least Sweden hasn't tried invading Finland twice in the past 100 years). And with Sweden eyeing NATO membership, Finland is following suite.
Quick side-bar: Finland was a part of Sweden for ages, then in 1809, Russia shaves Finland off Sweden for itself. After the Russian revolution, Finland declared independence and the USSR accepted. The Soviets would later conduct two wars against Finland during WW2, taking around 11% of Finland's territory, which included one large city. During the Cold War, Finland was neutral, not wanting another war (and subsequent annexation), Finland would try to appease the USSR while also slowly inch themselves Westward.
Finland (and Sweden) joining NATO would be big. Like all of Europe, both countries import a great deal of their energy supplies from Russia. With the invasion of Ukraine, attempts are being made to fix that, with wider oil drilling projects being planned in the North Sea. Besides the shared history, Finland occupies a strategic shipping lane along the Gulf of Finland that empties out into the Baltic. Besides the exclave of Kaliningrad, Russia has no other portage along the Baltic.
Russia would probably find it unacceptable, citing the shared history between the three countries. NATO, I believe, is still debating Sweden and Finland joining, with Turkey being the fly in the soup. However, it's largely expected that NATO will accept both countries in.
Russia's reaction will probably be to ramp up the already crazy amount of spying they are already doing on Sweden and Finland. I don't think Russia will be able to do anything more forceful, with all it's resources tied up further south. I wouldn't rule out any threats however.
Personally I'm not sure how much of a "red-line" Finland is. Russia hasn't paid much attention to northern borders as of late, with issues along it's west and south understandably taking up most of the bandwidth. I do know that Russia would not be able to afford the price of blood it would take to bring both Ukraine and Finland to heel, so I'm not sure what Russia will do.
I mean, in that universe, that probably was the motive.
Wait, you've been claiming that Latvia is responsible for this war. Anyone but Putin. But if he were woman, not only would he be responsible, all the national security would go out of the window and it's just to kill men. It just shows how you attribute motives based on gender.
Now, do you understand why people regard you as absolutely batshit crazy?
Also, everyone would be supporting Russia and putting a Z in their usernames on social media.
Nay, son. Russia would still be an enemy of the regime.
In that universe, Lithuania would not have got involved. There wouldn't have been a need to.
Imagine having such a tunnelvision that you think Lithuania is in it FOR DA WOMINZ. I guess you do believe the feminist idea that a world ruled by women would be peaceful - like the 24-year-old woman that you are.
The 100% female leadership isn't in it for women. Right. Even their cabinet is nearly half women (worst for humanity's future in the whole EU) while all the major parties are led by women. Lithuania was also extremely hard pushing the jabs, making them mandatory to enter even food stores.
It would be peaceful because we'd all be dead or enslaved. That's the end game of the More Feminine Way.
Elon funding abortions, J&J being pulled for affecting women...

Yup, female politicians are in it for themselves, like all politicians, dumbass.
Lithuania was also extremely hard pushing the jabs, making them mandatory to enter even food stores.
Hey, remember when you claimed the ECB was going to force countries to make vaccination mandatory? You're so good at predicting things. Where do you get it? I want to learn!

Didn't know you believed in magic.
Elon funding abortions, J&J being pulled for affecting women...
Already disproven, but feel free to remain pathological.
He's not talking about Putin. You'd know that if you even opened the article instead of having your daily knee jerk reaction to Imp making a comment about women.
LOL a retard talking about knee jerk reactions while having one himself. The irony broth got real thick, real quick. Please keep being stupid, I am entertained.
I know he's talking about Finland's PM, dear. I'm remarking on the irony that he is hating on her in reaction to Russia doing something, and speculating (well, not really) about what his reaction would be if Putin were female.
Also, it seems you know this, because you admit that this is Impy making a comment about 'women'.
That's what you get for relying on other foreign nations for your energy.
10%.
Still too much.
You do know that some countries don't have natural resources, right?
Maybe they should join the year 2022 and generate all their power using solar and wind :smug: :smug: :smug:
Finland is literally the EU's only uranium producer and are able to get 35% of their power needs with two plants. They could likely power their entire country with less than 10 reactors fueled by uranium dug out from their own country.
Yeah, sure, but the idea that every country should import 0% of its natural resources is unrealistic.
Literally no one is making the argument.
Then they shouldn’t be countries.
The shitlib countries are running off a 30% mix of solar energy and pure green hypocrisy. It has a lighter carbon footprint than EV batteries.
But how will all of my favorite metal bands power their amps?
Harnessing the kinetic energy from moshing.
Fuck. We're going to have to go to Sweden for our metal now.
And then the Winged Hussars arrived
You'll just have to start sacrificing goats to the gods of death metal yourself
Well... that's kind of how it works in the real world. No money. No watts.
"Finland has decided to not pay Russia for the electricity it imports."
What's that? THIS IS ALL RUSSIA'S FAULT?!?
Litterally "Oy shut it down".
good

Back to the middle ages, Fins. Say thanks to your 'leaders' for that.
HA _ HA _ HA _ HA _ HA _ HA
finland thought they could threaten missiles on their border and still get energy from the country they are threatening? LOL!!!!
Full on shitliberia on display here, folks.

Burn in hell, you evil fucking witch.

I envy the people in the alternative universe where Vladimir Putin is female. Your screeds would be so much more entertaining.
VLADIMIRA IS ONLY STARTING THIS WAR TO KILL MEN! SUPPORT THE BRAVE MEN OF AZOV!
I mean, in that universe, that probably was the motive.
Also, everyone would be supporting Russia and putting a Z in their usernames on social media.
Displaying a Ukrainian flag would be like flying a swastika.

Not really. I keep getting proven right. I have a way better record than Q ever did and that guy had a cult.
Maybe I should start posting like this.
Imagine having such a tunnelvision that you think Lithuania is in it FOR DA WOMINZ. I guess you do believe the feminist idea that a world ruled by women would be peaceful - like the 24-year-old woman that you are.
Yeah, we saw that with Kim Potter.

I'm hating on her for the well documented agitation for war she has done under the UK's guidance.
For being an insane conspiracy, the More Feminine Way sure seems to show up a lot.
There is no grounds to risk nuclear war over a feminist led shithole.
Wait, so she's a puppet of the UK now? Doesn't really fit your cosmology, does it?
A member of more than half the human population shows up somewhere. Must be a conspiracy.
Yes, just without the crazy.
