Agreed. I’ve heard some black people complain when people are tired of diversity. It’s one thing to constantly put these characters in there. Its another thing to always have the clapping seals in the media telling us how it’s the greatest thing ever. Up to a few years ago I would’ve given any show or game a chance but now if I see a black lead I’m assuming it’s going to be a lecture on racism or a female lead will be another girl power platform. And honestly it is a bit tiring to see this push for women in everything when it comes to hobbies that generally appeal to guys

Instead we got "This dumb white guy is wrong about everything" even though he wasn't. It seemed like he spent half the game apologizing for things that he was right about, usually to Marrin and Cere.
Don't get me wrong: I liked that game. Mechanically, it's one of the better games I've played, and probably the best SW game since Empire At War.
Plotwise, it sucked. Cameron Monaghan is not a good actor, neither were most of the other voice actors, and in the end, the characters achieved absolutely nothing. I get that they couldn't have a plot that might impact the continuity of the in-universe time period, but what they did instead was to have all of the struggle they went through be rendered completely meaningless when they destroyed the thing they spent the whole game chasing, which would have been safer if they'd never started chasing it. It was stupid.
And yet they made the hero look like a soy lattee chugger. and ugly as possible. His sidekick is also offensively bad.

All of the designs you listed are at least 2 years after Nier Automatas release date, and none of them come close to matching the design of 2B. 2B is clearly female and made to be attractive, unlike the designs you showed. If you see that as mtf than those "that's a man" comments have definitely had an impact.
I will give you that the designs you listed fit todays current female design philosophy, which is that they must be masculine, unattractive and have bulldyke hair. And yes, I expect to see more twink males as shown in Apex legends because twink Link exists and must be copied.
