Apparently the French presidential election is happening on April 10
posted 4 years ago by yvaN_ehT_nioJ 4 years ago by yvaN_ehT_nioJ +54 / -0

Reuters polling from April 1 (grains of salt etc) apparently has:

  • Macron at 28% of the vote

  • Le Pen at 21%

  • Mélenchon at 16%

  • #Ourguy Eric Zemmour at 10% 😢😢😢

Elections are over worldwide. The globalists stole it in America; literally no country is safe from the riggers.

Zemmour looks shit out of luck so that leaves Le Pen is the only possible viable alternative.

I do not think there is anything wrong with Le Pen, then again I do not know details about French politics because I am not French speaking.

Nothing wrong with Le Pen, though her attempts to be more acceptable to the mainstream has left an opening for Zemmour. But Zemmour has been expanding the Overton Window, making Le Pen look more moderate, and that is very good.

The only way we can improve anything is by forcing establishment politicians to move in the right direction. Even if Le Pen won, nothing would improve (I do not think she would get majority support in the new parliament), just like things continued to go to hell under Trump.

Trump should have stacked the government with loyalists so he can conduct a self-coup against the swamp.

I don't think that's even possible even for someone ideally suited for the task. But Trump, while having very good political instincts, was a very bad strategist.

LePen is a leftist on every issue except immigration. She supports a large welfare state, she's openly feminist, and she's a leftist on most other social issues.

Traditional European right-wingers support a welfare state. I wouldn't call her a feminist, except the way feminists use the word, unless Thatcher was also a feminist.

Just noticed your account was banned from Reddit. RIP.

Same happened to my RedPillDessert account. I got: "Your account has been permanently suspended for continual involvement in site wide content policy violations both as a user and mod.". Guessing you got the same. Perhaps old (unfairly punished) infractions played a part, but I always played by the rules and never really trolled.

Happened a few days in what appears to be a mass cull of users. Thank you for all you did at Kia2 on Reddit.

I'm good with either Le Pen or Zemmour in the second round. I'd prefer Zemmour, but I think Le Pen is more likely to win (though still not very likely).

Zemmour's mere presence has forced the others to focus on his issues, which is a massive improvement.

Don't they have a multi election system? In any case, kind of sad that Zemmour is that far down the pecking order.

no - because they have a runoff if one person fails to get 50%+

Ross Perot didn't steal any more of the Republican vote than the Republicans stole the Perot vote.

Though that only works in a legitimate electoral system where a third-party or fourth-party or tenth-party could actually win. I have since learned that the game is wholly rigged in favor of the Uniparty. It's not just about the number of votes - the legal system itself keeps a third-party from winning. Then you have to consider how the Republicans kept out Ron Paul, and tried to keep out Trump, and just imagine how easily an openly hostile Uniparty with the media on their side would rig things in their favor.

If Trump were as big of a threat to the system as MSM pretend he is, Republicans would have tanked the general election by forcing one of the other candidates.

Macron is not that bad, he strongly has come against the "US cultural colonization" of France... Of course he also supports the mass immigration, Islam of France, thing but... What can we do? France is still better than Germany or the UK in my opinion.

Macron is not that bad, he strongly has come against the "US cultural colonization" of France.

The only reason he opened his mouth on that is because he saw that the electorate's aversion to wokeness was even stronger than their aversion to 3rd world savages.

It was pretty much the only sane thing he's ever said, and he only said it because he knew he was handing victory to Le Pen if he didn't adopt at least some of her postion.

They really need to have some drop outs to get Macron OUT of office. They are going to Trudeau their country into full shithole status. They need to figure out how to win and get rid of Macron. Promise positions and follow through on it. Get Macron OUT.

Eric Zemmour Early Life His parents were Berber Jews

I mean I like his stance on anti-immigration and most of the rest of what he stands for, but does this mean anything?
