I got nearly perfect scores in several first year university classes, without studying. Because not only were they going over easy material, it was material I learned years prior. Basic algebra, rudimentary trig, reading lists that included childrens' books.
You can only teach at or below your own level of competence. Universities are not aiming to hire the smartest or most competent people, they have quotas to fill.

The last great variety show, which always ended in a "stunt". It was like watching a live action Wile E. Coyote cartoon. Of course there's fucking "violence"! DUH!
