I tried to talk them out of it, but being extremely old, they believe the vaccine will protect them.
And before I get reported for Rule 14 again - I deleted a post, so I've only posted 5 times with this post now. I think that's how it works. I can't exactly post this tomorrow, and I only just found out.
Signing off for the night, even if I know I won't sleep. Maybe I'll play some Fortnite before the map gets exploded again on Saturday.
They may survive the shot, but they may not survive the consequences of it.
I will pray for you, your grandparents, and your family. I am in the state of mind where I assume that everyone that has taken the shots is living on borrowed time. That tells me to make the time that they are still alive as good as possible.
I will pray that they don't suffer any adverse side effects.
Your grandparents should be fine. It's not impossible that they will be the rare exception that suffers side effects from the vaccine, but people vastly overestimate the threat of death from both the disease and the vaccine.
Best wishes to you and yours.
They'll almost certainly be fine. The clot shot primarily kills people under 40, and mostly males under 30.
There's really no telling what their odds are of surviving the after-effects (if there are any).
You CAN however actually give them advice about having the booster administered if they absolutely are going through with. Make sure to mention to them that they adamantly tell the administering nurse to ASPIRATE before the injection.
Others have posted links/videos on the importance of this before receiving the shot. This does not guarantee that the messengers will stay local, but there is a higher likelihood that they stay at the injection site as opposed to intravenous injection.
There are countless posts on here about what happens when they get into the bloodstream, but if the messengers don't travel at least they're safer than if they do.
There is still zero data on what happens down the line even if the messengers do stay local because we have no longitudinal data on how this affects humans in the long term. But seriously, if they want to avoid the more immediate effects of clotting make sure they know that it should not be administered intravenously!
Also don't use your arm at all for the day.
Even if they get the muscle, contraction will push some of the mRNA juice into your blood if there's a nicked vein where it will damage the heart or into the lymph where it will damage the immune system.
You're absolutely right. I forgot to mention that.
That's one of the reasons why even with intramuscular injection a lot of fitness enthusiasts suffer clotting shortly after getting the shot.
That's interesting. I have a habit of working out after getting the flu shot because it prevents soreness but for coof shot that may not be advisable.
It seems like older people are actually the least affected by them, so hopefully theyโll be fine.
I will pray.
I'll pray for them.
Forty one days until adverse event death returns to the mean. If they can hold on until January 15 they are probably safe. My mother is about halfway through.
You got a nice one-look source for that? Or ist that just a conclusion from looking at data or something
Praying for you.
Praying for you and yours. ๐๐ฟ๐๐ป๐๐พ
All of my surviving grandparents are quite old and have gotten all the jabs/boosters without any adverse effects, for what itโs worth.
All the best to you and yours.
Give them D3, Garlic Oil and Resveratrol, these are seen as harmless supplements by people so they won't react negatively thinking you're being all "cunspiracee".
These will protect their health and circulation.
You can also give them foods containing this, like sardines, salmon with garlic and grapes.
You know sometimes it's better to support and comfort old folks than lay our baggage and beliefs on them. They've earned the right to have their opinion.
Best wishes!
Done.
Good luck I1
I'm not much of a religious person. although I'm trying to become one. So if you do not mind the prayer of a sinner I'll do it.
And as others have pointed out is more about long term effects then the shot itself.
I donโt waste my prayers on idiots, sorry.
Somebody lost their way while heading to Reddit.
I'd say pray for yourself, but then you'd be breaking your own rules.
ooh that stung ba-ZING
