A day late but worth remembering

A photograph of an entire nation being saved by one lone teenage boy with a sword, wearing his school uniform.
A level of heroism worth of any anime.
He hung himself with a bedsheet in prison 3 weeks later, a logical course of action since there he was basically guaranteed a death penalty or life imprisonment anyway.
His suicide note read;
'Long live the Emperor.' 'Would that I had seven lives to give for my country'
From what I read, he tried to kill himself on the stage immediately afterwards, but was stopped. Sounds like he knew from the start what he was in for, but went ahead anyway.
In true samurai tradition. Conceive the act, perform the act, remove yourself from the hand of your enemy.
Well, yeah. I don't think it takes a genius to know what you're gonna get for assassinating a poltical leader.
He tried to kill himself already on the stage but was arrested before he did.
Never let evil take root.
I hate to use this word but that kid is badass
His sacrifice saved his people's culture, and perhaps millions of lives.
maybe not official communism, but it’s currently controlled by globohomos, so is that really a benefit? They are buying into covid hook like and sinker, vaccine passports, a feminist centric society that promotes and enables single mothers, acceptance of prostitution (1/20 women are admitted prostitutes), the destruction of the nuclear family through isolation, etc.
Japan is in bad shape.
Edit: not to take away from him, because he is a hero. But my point is our enemies are more numerous today. They didn’t lose yet, and must still be eradicated.
I watch NHK (Japanese news in English) sometimes and over the weekend they had a 30 minute segment dedicated to transgender people. I could only stomach it for about 5 minutes but it was the same talking points we hear in the west. Trans people are discriminated against, they deserve our support and compassion, etc.
It made me sad because I was hoping that they would at least stay away from that bullshit.
They're called the ニューハーフ, the "New Halfs". A "half" is someone who's half-Japanese.
Apparently, that's akin to being mentally unstable
I remember when that was just a sexual fetish. Saying "newhalf" was the equivalent to saying "shemale". "Chicks with dicks". Also called lady boys over there. Cross-dressing freakshows, nothing more.
Oh wait, that's still all they are.
Most don't admit it, but the Japanese are probably some of the most racist people in the world. It's not really their fault - their culture is based around isolationism, so they shun outsiders as an inherent part of their culture.
They're pagans. Obedience to power is what they know.
I don't understand, how do those two things follow? Also what does it have to do with being racist? (I probably just missed a larger point in the conversation.)
Jesus Christ trampled, humiliated, and defeated death by death. There is no more death. We're free - Jesus gave us this gift. We are now free to do what He wants us to do --- the very thing we were put on this planet, by Him, to do.
Pagans still think that they suffer death. Thus, their only hope to leave a legacy is to amass power and do what the demons tell them to do.
Slavery to the Father, the Sun, and the Holy Spirit is true freedom. Freedom as a pagan is truly slavery to passion.
Go with Christ.
I'm not very racist. I married a Japanese woman. Their culture is pagan, and they're very much worried about death. Their entire culture is obedience.
I would watch 5 mins if its them doing Seppuku live.
That's not new. Remember for example Poison was created by Akiman in 1991, and in America back then censorship made Poison and Roxy just women in Final Fight (also they were quite often either censoring removing female enemies from beat'em ups in America, replacing them with men, which I think also was a case in some port of FF).
Japan got to enjoy a good 40-50 extra years of national identity. America lost theirs in the 60s, Japan lost theirs just about a decade ago, maybe two. He gave two generations freedom from globalist tyranny.
No country can subsist forever on the benefits of a single action. Otoya was the first of what should have been many. Instead, he was the last.
Yamaguchi was super pro-American.
Sounds like a pretty good exchange rate. When can we start?
Well it's been a long time since then. At least they had a good run.
Flay a fascist, crucify a communist!
This is how you deal with communists.
but the communists are like the third largest party or some shit now
theres footage too, absolutely inspirational https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h02JUhgQcc0
Awesome! It's weird how the footage looks different then photo. I can't find that particular pose when looking at the footage (the socialist guy never turned to face Otoya).
The photo was later after the commie was already mortally wounded.
He stabbed him twice. Once while charging onto stage from the right of the frame, then again from the left a second later before being swarmed.
you can see the photo moment at 30 seconds in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iUbyxiRNrhE
The slow-mo flash of light on the impact looks anime af.
That's no "samurai sword." No way would he get close enough with one of those. Kodachis are great though.
It's a wakizashi, which were carried by samurai. I think it's fair to call it a 'samurai sword' on that basis.
A wakizashi is to a katana as a six shooter is to a rifle: a small backup weapon. If the six shooter is synonymous with cowboys, you could definitely make the argument that the wakizashi should be seen as having the same association with samurai.
Nah, it's more like katana is a long rifle, and the wakizashi is the repeater, and that tanto is the six shooter.
I don't speak weebz but that sounds cool af.
It's arms speak for old arms otakus. You find the same things going on with firearm otakus and gaming otakus.
Wasabi = pepper spray
Need to blow this up and make it a reason to party every year in honor of Otoya's huge fucking balls. Death to commies day.
Need to do it like they do breast cancer, multiple months a year. October for Otoya, April for Rafal Ganowicz?
Based fucking samurai
I am against eradicating opposition. Call me a shill or whatever but i always need someone pointing the faults of my ideas so i can improve.
Men are grown to dedicate themselves so i can understand his motive but it is not something that i would do.
But what happens when your opponents don't want anyone finding faults with their ideas, to the point of genocide?
History has shown one side wants criticism to improve themselves, the other uses gulags to stop it.
Choose the side you want with power.
Japanese proverb : A man who dose not fear the sword(power) should not be allowed to hold the sword.
I'm against eradicating opposition. I am not against eradicating someone who hates me, wants me dead, and wants my culture and nation to burn.
"Your people are merely an obstacle toward my vision of utopia" isn't an opposing viewpoint, it's a supervillain motive.
When you are trying to sleep in the camps they will put us in, i'm sure you will sleep well maintaining your moral superiority.
I sort of agree with you, if the opposition can be isolated and controlled. It's always a good idea to keep examples of evil around, lest we forget. Yin-yang. And some ideas are endemic to the human experience and can't be wiped out. For example I don't think you can eliminate Communism by completely banishing it and killing all the commies. You have to consistently deconstruct and teach against the fundamental principles.
