Expert testimony states that Kyle Rittenhouse was justified in his use of force (archive.is)

Utterly obvious from the video of the incident.

Not that it matters. The George Floyd trial proved that facts no longer matter and the only relevant information is the political optics of the event as percieved by the left.

The US is now a left wing dictatorship with fake elections and rigged courts.

I have never seen such a blatantly criminal judge who allowed prosecution to change the cause of death that Chauvin was being charged with DURING THE TRIAL.

Well Rittenhouse didn't kill any blacks, just commies, so hopefully he gets acquitted.

Commies are even more sacred than blacks.

The only blacks they care about are the ones that are criminals and commies.

Larry Elder you can throw an egg at in a gorilla costume and never be caught.

Huber then hit Rittenhouse in the neck with a skateboard before attempting to grab Rittenhouse's rifle. Rittenhouse then shot Huber.

Skate Or Die did grab the barrel, with one hand, pointing it at his own heart.

Assistant District Attorney Thomas Binger argued that Black is an expert in the use of force by police, not civilians. Binger also questioned whether Rittenhouse would have been justified in using lethal force if he wasn't armed with a gun.

So where's the ADA going with that? Rittenhouse was armed, apparently legally ... so isn't the question entirely irrelevant? What would need to happen to make that a relevant question?

If we take all guns off everybody then antifa will only have the option of beating people to death?

Something something… guns bad….. except when we use them to force you into compliance.

The ada tried arguing that because rittenhouse used stimulus money on buying a gun, it was somehow indicative of a dangerous mind...

Nick Rekieta did a breakdown of that hearing and I dont think he could have facepalmed harder.

The mob won't tolerate failures.

Except their own failures. They seem to tolerate them quite a bit. Three criminals in their group couldn't get one Kenosha Kid. They tolerated those three criminals, and they were caught before, failures. And they failed at harming an innocent child, too, but the left still lionizes them.

Ahh, but now they have provided the left with three new martyrs - arguably providing more use to their philosophy than they did in life.

By that same argument, if Antifa had not been terrorizing this neighborhood, would anyone have been out there with weapons to defend their community?

It's completely ridiculous. It will work in putting the kid behind bars for life, though, because it sends a message to those that oppose the color revolution.

Yeah. For what it's worth, given that we know at least one of the antifa guys rocked up with a handgun, I can't see any reason why you would expect anybody else there to go unarmed.

When the least stable people in the room are armed, everybody else better be.

Ziminski had a pistol which he fired before Kyle shot, and during the second shootout an unknown gunman (not Grosskreutz) was shooting too.

I've seen a lot of people say "What Kyle did was stupid" or "He shouldn't have been there." At the time I agreed. He was a 17 year old and I didn't think a minor had any business being around a riot even if his intentions were pure (I knew he was doing cleanup and such earlier in the day, but I thought he should have just left once things got rowdy.) After all, why take that risk?

But more recently I've come to realize that if more people acted like Kyle did in that situation, the country would be a lot better off. He went with peaceful intentions to clean up, provide medical assistance, and protection to the area he worked, but knowing that because he opposed the senseless violence he was making himself a target and came prepared.

We cannot allow the threat or presence of violence to dissuade us from following our beliefs and opposing the destruction of our countr(y/ies). Yes, this will involve risk, and we must each determine how much risk is acceptable personally, but standing idly by and waiting for someone else to organize resistance to the anarcho-tyranny will inevitably result in us losing.

Honestly, I never bought the "he shouldn't have been there" narrative - stinks far too much of people trying to convict people of crimes they haven't committed yet.

They used to ship young men his age off to war practically. More people with an action mindset to help their communities would be good.

I didn’t know it had started. When I saw how the media painted him I figured he was on the right side. I think the only thing they could charge him with is being too young to have that gun

▲ 25 ▼
– norwegianwikin 25 points 4 years ago +25 / -0

There is two, maybe even three separate issues there.

Was he to young to possess a weapon? Not under state law.

Even if it was illegal, does that change his self defense claim? Even criminals can defend themselves from unlawful attacks.

They might even try a 2A approach, but rights don't come with a age limit.

Exactly. Charging him with illegal firearm possession makes about as much sense as charging a rape victim with driving without a license after they jump into a car to flee their rapist.

It's literally called "the parking lot rule" (for road rage). If you're mad at someone and they yell back at you? That's not a big deal. But if they follow you into a parking lot and yell some more? You can take steps to defend lawfully yourself.

The first guy (a convicted paedophile) chased Kyle into a parking lot, threw a brick (or something in a plastic bag) at him and cornered him between another group of people. Someone in that group fired a gun as he advanced.
The second and third (both violent criminals) were even more obvious.

That the Media and Leftists make martyrs out of scum like this is disgraceful.

I think the way the events unfolded prove unequivocally that he absolutely should have been armed, and he’d likely be dead if he hadn’t been.
