The official National Archives website has added a trigger warning to the US Constitution, the Declaration of Independence and Bill of Rights which cautions that the documents contain “harmful language.” (summit.news)

The progressives hate all remaining remnants of the old Republic. They would be overjoyed to be able to finally stop pretending the republic and its values mean anything in their new empire.

...it is now flagging “potentially harmful content,” ... or being “discriminatory towards or exclude diverse views on sexuality, gender, religion, and more.”

Excluding diverse views about sexuality and gender is harmful is it? Someone should tell that to the faggots running all the social sites and the media in general.

Yes, but you're not going to like how you'll need to do it.

These are weak, silly, unserious people, living in a complete fantasy world.

It's just - I've watched them do this for years, and to see this rot spreading to the National Archives is sickening but not surprising. They've spent so long inventing the great crisis to give their lives meaning, that once a real one smacks them in the face they won't know what to do except act like brutish thugs, apparently. They just yell and shout and gin up the press, and call it a day.

At least they're being so cartoonishly absurd about it.

This is a misleading article. Try visiting the NARA site yourself, and you'll see that the "harmful language" banner appears on every page. It has nothing to do with any particular document, but rather displays as a persistent news alert.

It even appears on the general records group itself: https://catalog.archives.gov/id/340

Somebody voted you down, but you're 100% correct. This banner seems to appear everywhere.

Now, having said that, the very fact that someone decided that this banner was necessary or a good idea is fucking clown world.

What ever happened to "sticks and stones?"

Mental health only matters to a mentally weak population. You think people who don’t know where their next meal is coming from care how you have anxiety before a college exam?

By putting a banner everywhere even when it's mostly or wholly not warranted, that just renders the banner meaningless.

It's meaningless, but not worthless.

It'll keep the people who have been psychologically abused by being told that the entire world is out to get them constantly reminded that the entire world is out to get them.

Every Amendment to the Constitution beyond the 11th was a mistake.

If everyone was on the same team it wouldn't matter. You're interpreting the 12th in context of the existence of political parties, which shouldn't exist.

It's probably the part about the natives. It bluntly says they need guns to keep natives away.
