TL;DR; Red states are reopened so kids in red states are getting in person learning. Blue states are not. Somehow this is wacism and not dems being fucking nut balls.
This is a bad move by cons. They should have used this opportunity to close the schools for good. It'd be more valuable to pay the teachers to stay home for the rest of their lives to prevent them from damaging children.

As would be expected in a nation that is majority white. The fact that they can say this as if it’s unexpected and a problem speaks volumes about these people.
I don't think whites are still the majority in some of the younger age ranges, or at least it's very close to that tipping point.

I walk by the elementary school almost every day around when they are out for recess. It's feel sorry for them seeing them all out there with their masks on. I think inside they are at least not subjected to sitting in a box. Their parents really should push the school to drop the mask BS, with enough complaining it might even work here. I've never once seen a single kid here with a mask on playing in the street or at the park. But at school I guess they are killing their Grandma.
The kids that are back at school, not all that white either.
