Why is it that the ones who make a huge deal of being against pictures of fictional anime girls are the ones being outed as sexual predators in real life?
My view of the recently discussed "loli issue" is very simple. I personally don't like loli but I think banning it will just be giving ground to the left's war on anime in general.

Well, the origin of most lolicon stuff is Japan, a place that has low crime rates and generally seems to be one of the nicest places to live. But according to you, lolicon is degenerate and has no place in a "moral society". So, surely, you must believe that Japan is a degenerate, immoral society, right?
If that's the case, then why the fuck should I care about whether a society is "moral" or not? Or at least, why the fuck should I care about what you consider to be a "moral society"?
Well, it took Japan until sometime in the 1990s to outlaw actual softcore CP with real children, before then they used to publish picture books full of naked 7 year olds. Japan definitely isn't some kind of a beacon of morality, they just don't talk about anything bad that happens.
You would think that someone with proclivities to underage girls would also have a front of "loli is fine, it's just pictures" so they could defend their own decisions to themselves, if not other people, but it's always this completely backwards set-up.

If you wanted people to not see your actual crime you would point fingers at others, to make people get distracted .So people who are distracted complaining and wasting time about loli would not go after the actual problems.
Criminals always pretend to hate crime. It's silly to pretend that this behavior is a special characteristic of the anti-loli crowd. The Smash Bros gaming community, on the other hand, seems uniquely predatory.

The one thing with free speech, and rights, are that you either have them or you don't. No matter how repugnant anyone believes someone (or something) is, if you allow rights to be exempted because of that, that only ensures they won't exist for you.

Horseshit. Giving rights to communists is why we are currently ruled by communists. What we actually need to learn is that a healthy society has a legitimate and correct understanding of what constitutes degeneracy and takes steps to abolish it from everyday life. This view is quite compatible with the elimination of lolicon.
Giving rights means everyone plays ball and respect each other right. The problem isn't with the right, it's those who dont play ball. You dont change good rights because of such people, you kick them out of the field.
I hear a lot of talk about stopping degeneracy which to me sounds good on paper but after seeing people here froth in anger over fucking anime drawings, I can see where the crusade of righteousness ends.

As much as I hate the communists on the left, the vitriol I see from specifically the white nationalist crowd who seem to be the ones who froth out the most over this makes me wary of what the world would be like if your types ever seized power.
