Weird. Isn't Russia located in Asia? I guess some Asians are more equal than others in the eyes of the left.
Most of Russia is in Asia, but the section east of the Ural Mountains is in Europe. If you look at a population density map of Russia, you can see that most of Russia's population lives in the European section.

I remember similar coverage of the Pulse Nightclub shooting. Although they had to go with "his motives are a mystery", since that one went counter to their narrative.
Narrative won't last, despite this incident, the overwhelming attacks are still done by black people. Once Asians start defending themselves they'll go back to being oppressors.
If there's one thing that's certain about most social justice movements is that they're really just black supremacy movements with REALLY good PR. Anytime a minority group is seen as an obstacle to black supremacists they instantly become "white".
