On desktop, it looks like the communities bar covers the top of the banner. Was that deliberate? In a way I kinda like the effect, since the current dark grey blends better than what was originally the brighter green (which fitted over on Reddit, but not so much here). What might be an idea is to have a different fade (to say black), so we can still see the banner's top (including Vivian's full head!). Would also allow for more whitespace between the kia2 banner and the communities bar. And we get to see the stars!
Atm the banner is zoomed in a bit, could zoom it out so the stars are visible, regarding community bar are you talking about changing the banner image so it's fade is black instead of green?
Here, this should be just a simple drop-in replacement which won't require any changes to the CSS apart from adjust the image (in theory). I added more sky so that when the communities bar is overlaid, there's still be a decent amount of sky left:
Here's what the full banner would look like if you moved the image down a certain number of pixels: https://i.imgur.com/Nv9iXbE.png
And finally, here's an adjustment I made of the full banner so the grey blends in better with the community bar: https://i.imgur.com/gwljbkG.png
See what you guys prefer. If you're having difficulty moving the image down, what I could do is create a larger region at the top with more stars, so that you don't even need to change the CSS, just the image.

Going through my change log,
Added banner to mobile size.
Dark mode should have a bit more purple, around sticked posts and sidebar.
Fixed some text being rendered outside its box see for instance:https://kotakuinaction2.win/p/11SKC2HDiz/x/c/4DvnfNDtKKO
Added support for a old pale moon browser.
And some other minor improvements.
I have a controversial suggestion - is it possible to remove support for Google Chrome somehow? It seems logical to do so, given none of us should be using it.
I meant that Google is more evil because they have power in addition to an ideological hatred for anyone who differs in opinion from them, Mozilla only has the latter. Actually, I think that Mozilla is more obnoxiously and outwardly leftist, because Google is still corporatist in addition to being sjw.
The only non-color complaint I had has been resolved by the recent update. There was a slight vertical offset by a few pixels between the "cancel" and "save" buttons. I only ever noticed this when typing replies from the 'new messages' page, but it was bothering me more than it maybe should have. So thanks!
Edit: Taking the chance to request an attempt at getting a flair system implemented here like we had on reddit.
Also, make sure to thank u/MetalicBioBMeat and u/RPD2
Sorry, I don't thank Russian machine guns.
I want a Real Pretty Dogbone.

Thoughts?
I think it's just how the banner was added sitewide. That change may have come before I uploaded Bio-Meat's CSS configuration.
Also, I like stars, I wouldn't mind if the encompassed a longer part of the banner.

Here's what the overall effect should look like: https://i.imgur.com/BhFj1Ng.png
So basically the community bar is covering the top of the banner.
Here's what it currently looks like for me (with the banner top chopped off): https://i.imgur.com/hvKt2Xl.png

Noted.
And here's a compromise between the bright turqoise colour and the new black: https://i.imgur.com/cRmdHbz.png

That's me! The colors for dark mode look much better now. I'll try to watch for stuff being weird in the next few days.
I second the dark mode positive feedback. I hadn't even realized until I read it, but it does look nicer.
Whoa, wtf, there's other people using old pale moon?!
No I was just talking about updated dark mode in general.
Ahh, okay.
I have a controversial suggestion - is it possible to remove support for Google Chrome somehow? It seems logical to do so, given none of us should be using it.
I'd rather see Mozilla SoyFox blocked first.
Google is worse surely. They're basically the people who run the Big Tech SJW racket.
Why not both?
Brave master race
They’re undoubtedly eviler.
Based on what?

Eat the Bio Meat, bigot.
Prefer Bio meat instead? https://imgur.com/gallery/BcFQHew

We can, but I have to manually implement each and every user into the CSS.
Every user that would be viewing them? Or every user that would be receiving a flair? The latter shouldn't be too hard.
Every user that would have a flair, has to have it manually input into the site's CSS at the moment.
doesn't look any different to me
Changed banner, dark mode has proper highlights for announcements, and there were some text box repairs.

not even a hit on ublock nice
ublock?
I'm breaking out...
From all the awesomeness!
I'll just go ahead and mark you down as a COVID death...
OH GOD WAIT NO BIDEN IS PRESIDENT!
I TAKE IT BACK! I TAKE IT BACKI AVE BIDEN!
Normally not a fan of random aesthetic changes for no needed reason, but looks decent. Good job.
PRAISE THIS UPDATE! I finally dont have to turn my phone sideways when I'm scrolling down to see the final comment of a page :)
