Democrats, true to their platform, are pushing reparations and minimum wage agendas, despite the US debt being almost $28T.
There were some dark times recently in the stock market, due to Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell's choice comments within the past week or so. Some cynical might suggest his comments about the economy being 'a long way' were intentional.
Either way, inflation has been warned about for a while now, and it's picking up tone. The COVID-19 relief stimulus is attempting to be pushed through the budget reconciliation process. It contains a lot of pork as most spending bills.
Now, we're seeing the push (again) for reparations / free college, and most assuredly we can probably see something about healthcare later in this regime's tenure, I assume. These are the economic times today.
This nothing to do with reparations. That's just their excuse to rain money on political allies. It's pure patronage.
Well, yeah, it's Congress. All they do is whore themselves out for political favors 1 way or another.
In the case of Democrats, super cynically trying to keep minorities on the teeth of welfare...beyond simple humanitarian means.

Reparations is an excuse to rain money on political allies at the expense of political opponents.
I foresee some kind of state stipend for any qualifying minorities, including housing, "education," and free cash of some kind, all paid for on the backs of those still dumb enough to be working in or near major cities, and any blue states with a significant red population in the rural areas (WA, OR, CA, IL, NY, etc).
Is it ironic or fittingly poetic that people whose ancestors may or may not have been enslaved will once again be enslaved because they couldn't get over their ancestors maybe potentially being enslaved?

They already have the black vote for life. Other minorities such as Hispanics won't care (or will eventually wipe out the black community via turf wars).
The prophecy is fulfilling: every country where Whites are, or become, an ethnic minority, is a new South Africa for them. And eventually, a Zimbabwe. And in the end, Haiti. The cycle.

What will be the consequences of this? The left would have bought the black vote for a long time, white people who are on their way to become a minority are still voting in large numbers with the left. The latino are thought to hate white people just like blacks, so they will feel like they are winning against whites.
The left gets to have complete dominance to push what ever they want. They can declare war on Europe tomorrow and the left will say they deserved it.
Of course. This isn't about making amends for past wrongs, this is about taking money from whitey and giving it to non-whites because fuck you whitey. Don't overthink this.

OK, well, I'm sure they can take a page from old Nazi stuff re: their supposed marriage laws for this nonsense. They can start with the "banned" cartoon Education for Death for the basics. (It's a Disney anti-Nazi propaganda cartoon. I think the kiddos who "banned" it think it's pro-Nazi for some reason. Like the way they missed the ending of that Donald Duck cartoon where he's having a nightmare about being a German worker.)
