They'll just raise the rent or property taxes to the point that you will get evicted and then let the refugees stay there as free welfare.
Here's how it works in Germany:
Migrants get free housing by law. The state rents said housing at "market rates". Migrants gobble up all available housing. Market rates skyrocket. Germans can no longer afford rent or even find a new apartment. The government can afford any market rate by simply increasing taxes. More migrants come. Fewer Germans can afford rent. Property taxes get raised to get rid of people who actually own their homes. Anyone who objects gets called a Nazi.
Here's how it worked during the Obama admin:
The gov pays the rent for anyone who qualifies for section 8.
Slum lords find an aging neighborhood and start buying up dilapidated houses with no intention of maintaining them.
They move section 8 tenants in, who at best don't know how to live like a responsible adult ... at worst are straight up criminals who steal from the neighbors and/or sell drugs out of the house.
Their unlucky neighbors, unhappy and frightened by the sudden rise in crime in their once quiet neighborhood, do the only thing they can: Move away. Then slum lords buy their houses as well.
You end up with a repeating cycle where the property values in the neighborhood plummet, letting the slum lords buy up tons of houses for cheap. You can always spot a neighborhood it's happening to because the utility poles on every corner have flyers stapled to them that read something like: "WE BY HOUSES! CASH! (xxx) xxx-xxxx"
Then they fill the houses with section 8 tenants and rake in the steady income of rent from the gov.
Within a few years a once nice, affordable neighborhood has become a horrible shithole. A suburb themed ghetto.
And cities spread into the countryside like mold. Quiet rural areas and farmland are eaten up by an ever spreading sprawl of cookie-cutter suburb developments for people to flee to. (Also the people that fled to those new developments get called racist for not wanting to live next to drug dealers or have their garage broken into every week.)
I imagine under Biden's policies it's going to be similar to this, but far worse.
The only refugees I'm currently willing to consider would be Boers from South Africa. All the third world foreigners gotta go. Free white people of good character only.

Actual refugees are fleeing war or oppression. What war? What oppression? The oppression of poverty? That's not a refugee. That's an economic migrant, and immigration is not a solution for global poverty. The third world generates 40-80 million new poor every year. That represents a completely unsustainable amount of immigration.
Anyways, what's the plan, Democrats? How many people should live in the West? When do we close the hose? When you've imported enough votes to guarantee indefinite one-party rule? When whites are no longer a majority in their homelands? When conditions and resources deteriorate to the point where no one wants to come here? When literally everyone lives here?
No really, I want someone to tell me when enough is enough. Is America supposed to literally turn over its demographics every 50 years? When the boomers die off and the Hispanics are the new majority, will they be browbeaten into importing Africans and middle easterners until they become the dominant ethnic demo? Is this going to be a comically insane constant, or is it just a one-time deal to get rid of whitey?

Not all refugees are the same and not all cultures are equal. Mass entry like this ruins a country.
France is an example, Germany in the middle stages, Canada in the early stages, US in the beginning.
