Democrats just won't stop accelerating the division.

The division is firmly set. We're only accelerating the separation now. Hopefully we can find something we can mutually agree on, and both fuck off to our own devices.

Nope. They want your tax revenue to pay for their projects.

Yeah, good call. Cotton tariffs were the main revenue source for the federal government prior to the CW, and in turn, the income tax.

The south made the grave miscalculation that a world spanning naval empire couldn't find dirt somewhere else to grow cotton.

Well, Britain gave material naval aid so that southern cotton could make it to their ports, often to be sold back to the union for extreme profit. Kinda like how US Jews sold guns from union factories to the south in exchange for black market cotton. I don't think cotton production really shifted significantly through the war.

Never going to happen, the left cannot leave people who don't believe their dogma alone in case they grow and are able challenge them.

in case they grow and are able challenge them.

They never do, but progressives would if the positioned were reversed so they are compelled to strike. Also, leftists are parasites that feed on civilization itself.

Separation is the fastest way to see them bend the knee. With them out of the way, America can be based as fuck while they collapse, and then they come crawling back.

I seem to recall that Quebec separatists shut the fuck up pretty quickly once Chretien told them they'd never be allowed to use the Canadian dollar, and they'd have to come up with their own money.

They shouldn't have STFU if that was the threat, there's nothing to prevent them from keeping the pieces of paper and treating them as currency long enough for a new currency to develop by market forces.

Regardless, the US dollar is trash primed to hyperinflate as soon as other countries stop using it as their reserve currency. Better to get away from it while we can.

They knew they'd become a kind of third world joke if they tried. They already got laughed at hard enough when they tried to "force" airlines into using Quebec French when landing in Quebec airports.

And they wouldn't have used the American dollar, because of the long-standing, back-end fear of Manifest Destiny, and the idea that the Americans would take control and make 'em speak English. Seriously. Separatists' mindset is very ... Greatest Generation-era or older.

When I talk about the US dollar, I'm referring to American secessionists theoretically using it, not Quebecois.

Why? So we can spend our national treasure on the impossible task of trying to bring their demographic nightmare into line? I'd rather just cut off the gangrenous parts. With a higher quality population, we can have greater liberty.

I understand where you're coming from - it's the same reason I honestly thought they wouldn't be stupid enough to steal the election: grandiose displays of overt corruption emboldens their detractors and opposition.

But these people don't operate on the principals of moderation, morality, and logic. And sadly it's worked well enough for them so far that they have little reason to stop.

Couple this with Biden refusing to answer if he planned to stack the court, and it looks like things could get really ugly. It seems as though these last 4 years have made them very impatient.

Whereas the electoral college is premised on an antiquated theory that citizens will have a better chance of knowing about electors from their home States than about Presidential candidates from out of State;

Motherfucker Democrats were so fucking deranged about Trump he became an all-consuming smear target for every section of the Democrat's PR-wing. The left has literally created the problem they're legislating against.

Maybe the rethuglicans will push back against this, they would be the biggest losers were such an abomination to pass.

Or maybe they'll stand around with their thumbs up their butts as per usual.

I lived through JFK and Nixon. I honestly think the country is in a worse state now than it was then, for real.

Losers? No, that'd be a win for them. They could promise the world and rake in those donations and never, ever have to worry about getting elected and having to fulfill those promises. They love being controlled / fake opposition.

You're pretending that both parties don't serve the same master.

It's just theater.

If it passes they get more power and more support.

Do you think that the majority of Democrat and Republican House members and Senators hold beef with each other? Nope. They're all mostly friends behind the scenes. It's a game to drum up support and financing by acting out fake conflicts. The outcome of every single bill is decided before the offical vote happens.

They want to make their election fraud more efficient. This way instead of needing to stuff one ballot box for every electoral vote they want to steal, they can just say that Georgia received one hundred million votes for Biden and do all their fraud in one go.

I honestly think this, and all the crazy, totalitarian quotes that are making the rounds, are just bait. They’re trying to goad a lone wolf, or better yet, a militia into acting.

A real attack with a few dozen people killed by actual right-wingers would give them the final push they need to crush the second amendment.

With that out of the way, they’ve got nothing pressing to take care of. They’ve already done away with elections and the 1st amendment. Joe can sit in the basement for two years, until Kamala takes him out behind the woodshed and Old Yeller’s his ass.

Why do you think they need anyone to do anything?

They're just happy with Americans sitting at home doing nothing.

Congress and pals, and more importantly their masters, are about to fully consolidate power. House, Senate, White House, Supreme Court, majority of states... The evil empire is here in full force.

They are no longer common folk, they are Nobles.

Which would give the other lone wolves the push they needed to finally fight back.

Someone we don't approve of got elected. We propose to change the system so that only people we approve of can hold office.

The only reason they don't just stop holding elections is that they think it will look bad.

On the one hand, removing the electoral college screws over minority voices. On the other hand, it empowers the current overlord.

...I don't see how there's even a debate here. Those are, like, the two main ideals of the Dem party.
