I love Goblin Slayer, but it is definitely an outlier in manga these days, not tons of woke stuff per se but we have a lot of soyboy shit tier main characters for series out there and I suppose that has always been a part of anime and manga in general.

I scrolled a bit to get to the "pools hot tubs and beaches" section (yes that's a section now) and first place is 2 guys streaming in a tub. Followed by all e-thots with less than 1k viewers.
Women have just never dominated the platform in the way people like to pretend they do - they may get inordinate amounts of donations and gifted subs for their e-thottery but they never touch the views men get on the platform.
I work in the largest medical center in the world, when this all started my roommate was an ICU nurse at a hospital in this same medical center. When he had tons of free time, got off work easily, never got sick with basic hygiene and following the normal hospital protocols, never got us sick at the house...it was as clear as it could be that the whole thing was exaggerated.
He still hasn't gotten covid despite being a travelling covid nurse when the money shot up, I've only had it once cause a coworker came into work with it and we went to lunch together (unawares at the time).
This whole thing has been so stupid, and I'm only commenting to say that hospital staffs were not in on it, at least not these retard dancing nurses, they are just stupid. Whether leadership of hospitals were in on it is a different (and most likely) story.
I honestly think this is the case, he is great at and passionate about his work, but it sure puts a lot of pressure on him(and expectations from others). At the end of the day, rather than assume he is going to save anything, I appreciate that he really cares about the franchise I've enjoyed for years, and I've got a bit of hope for it.

I think it is pretty clear when you look at the way FF14 has turned out, since it is the same team - but I think it is definitely a more westernized take of the franchise in a lot of ways. And I think another big part of it is just that Yoshi P likes that type of stuff and was into a lot of western RPGs and MMOs as well throughout his life, picked up from interviews and stuff over the years.
All that being said, the trailers show a lot of classic Final Fantasy stuff that doesn't take away from the FF identity, imo at least - the summons in particular I think look potentially the best they ever have, although we will have to see once it is actually out.
I sound like I'm shilling and I apologize for that as I'm really not, I'm just trying to be open minded about the game, cause like I mentioned it is at least a bit less pozzed than other big franchises/titles we see these days. It may just be some generic half assed action RPG with some FF plated coating, just hoping that isn't the case.
I keep seeing this sentiment, and the "it's not turn based so it doesn't count :(" mentality and just not sure I really get it. As an FF fan I'm looking forward to the game, the producer/his team has a good track record and at least seems to care about the game, the franchise, as well as be passionate about it which I think a lot of developers lack in lieu of passion for social issues.
All of the games changed continually with the times, although it's clear the last several iterations changed more drastically, I still think all of the games have something to offer if you don't have a stick up your ass about it. And I guess this is just one of the few franchises that doesn't seem completely pozzed or actively scorning its fanbase with those social issues I mentioned.
During their shitstorm, Blizzard changed a bunch of small stuff in WoW like some in-game paintings(that depicted sultry women in their glorious 100 pixel form), added the ability to change gender at the barber shop, and completely removed "male" and "female" including the gender symbols in the character creation screen.

Aww man this was one of my favorite gimmick accounts to look at from time to time. They posted guns, pretty funny stuff, and just overall good content I thought. I noticed in the past couple weeks a couple tranny friendly posts but this is the worst/most open one by far.

The doc is definitely worth watching, but it kind of rehashes things we already know about the entire situation.
