Body Type 2's have a built-in inferiority function that prevents them from fully removing their lowest layer cloth armor and being allowed to be evenly compared to Type-1s. This is presumably because Type-2s are inherently weaker than Type-1s. Otherwise, they would show off their musculature in the same fashion.

Ok, I've got no clue what this is referring to. If I were to guess by avatar alone, this is in reference to WoW, body type 1 is male so this is a gigachad play to use leftist language to force Blizzard to release the tits.

Well... I think the "Style" BS in the most recent Animal Crossing game ONLY applies to the English versions. The Japanese one still retains the Boy and Girl options.
This is true. And if you dig deep enough in the English version’s menus, it still says (said?) boy and girl (although that may have changed with an update, idk).
During their shitstorm, Blizzard changed a bunch of small stuff in WoW like some in-game paintings(that depicted sultry women in their glorious 100 pixel form), added the ability to change gender at the barber shop, and completely removed "male" and "female" including the gender symbols in the character creation screen.
People now call women body type 2s jokingly because of it, I always get a chuckle out of it.

When I was younger, there was a lot of talk about striking down ordinances that prohibited women from being seen in public topless.
To the shitlib me at the time, it sounded great because anything that leads to me seeing more titties in my day to day was positive.
But now I realize it's wasn't actually about fairness but more about socially eliminating the obvious biological differences between the two sexes.
Also you don't actually want to see the titties on anybody who would actually go out on a slutwalk like that.
Not to mention that there are places where women CAN go topless, like New York City and possibly the entire state, yet they don't. Getting worked up about something that's allegedly restricting women from doing something that they wouldn't do anyway is kind of evidence that they ran out of actual issues a while ago.

Developped breasts is a secondary sexual characteristic of human females. It is sexual.
Feminists campaigning to "free the nipple" never tried to reform law to make it so groping a woman's breast gets downgraded to assault "because there is nothing sexual".
Ask the ESRB, not the companies. It's literally done to get the rating they want.
Do ESRB ratings matter any more? They used to be effectively enforced by physical stores refusing to stock games without a M or lower rating, so everyone had to get rated if they wanted to make money, but as far as I can tell Steam doesn't care, and more to the point Blizzard's own store certainly won't refuse to stock Blizzard's own games.
In any case, the original intent remains, just shifted from blizzard to the ESRB: to force someone to admit that women are women, and "type 2" means "women".
ESRB: "No topless women or we'll raise your rating" Blizzard: "I am not a biologist, I don't know what a woman is, but those are type 2s."
It matters to the higher ups calling the shots. They see the world and the industry far differently than your every day consumer. It's all about labels and numbers to them. If the rating does not match their target audience, they will anticipate poor sales. Poor sales means pissed off investors. And pleasing investors is their prime directive. They would commit blood rituals if it means a good fiscal year.
And they have!
They only have power because people think they have power. People are so used to thinking they are important that they never even question what the consequences of not following them are.
