true and im thinking that might be what they want is for them to do their usual bs and slam them what good it will do probablly not much but hey you never know perhaps folks (not mainstream mind you) will pick it up and run with it and it will get some awareness of corse just as likely pigs start flying and democrats start chugging holy water
i seem to remember lying under oath is a chargeable offence...perhaps the goal is not the oath but to create political theater of some sort under veritas's control and use that as a focal point for a barrage of articles to what end i can only speculate as in the last line.
went to archive looks like someone already did here's the archive that was found https://archive.is/eUo9S
dumb idea here but why not give the users a means to block tags user's or other filtering methods let them curate what they see and don't and give user's a means to add as an opt in suggested tags that the filters can use in case of a mis-tagged post perhaps even add common filter lists for those who can't be arsed to make their own
so they just gave us a gun basically. i wonder if there is a countermeasure of some sort to allow others to make that sub but not a shadowbanned person if not theoretically speaking a script could be used to mass create insta-baned subs limiting the available names of subreddits.
likely why it never took off, but whats to stop someone from claiming hacked? but you are right it will get shut down fast just look at gamestop and all the shit that was pulled during the stock mess. proof enough there for me that they will do so.
Considering this is not reddit i can actively suggest this and just get bonked on the head. Perhaps so chargebacks could be weaponized? Something that can realistically be done once per person but the fees can hurt them... badly. Also each time it happens, it gets worse* (usually, it kicks in after a threshold is reached). Eventually you can lose access to online payments via the cardholders company. I remember hearing about this as an op tactic once, but I don't think it caught any steam or I'm sure people would have heard about it more. That and something like this would be a nightmare to co-ordinate AND have it do damage, plus given some folks dox happy way's stuff might get leaked via credit card company's. so unrealistic at best but it seems it CAN be done at least on paper.
Ok something nice...What you said to say something nice... Ok, just to note yes I'm being a smart ass. I do like that this place is still around, a place where you can call someone a cunt and they can fire back with an insult of their own, none of this schoolyard bullshit of running to the teacher just because someone said a bad word. I love that quality of this place. I like that this place has space for all those tired and sick of the twitter and sjw puritanism that's infected absolutely everything these day's. I like that this place can speak about the awful and otherwise overlooked pieces of news that would have been just a blip, glossed over or flat out distorted. I like that this is a place people that are victims of crybully's can share their side of the story if they so choose.
My big gripe with things like this, they take away choice. My next biggest gripe is an extension of the first. By allowing you to only see and say what they want, they treat you like a child. Filters and censorship should be opt in, not opt out, or the only choice. If I wanna spam fuck on a page with a public posting system, I should be able to. if someone hates profanity that is where an optional chat filter comes in, then they don't have to see it, the more options for the end user the better.
Edit: have you thought about a Neocities type service (free web page)? If it's just text then the free plan will be more then enough. They even have a tutorial on how to use their service on Neocities thats fairly indepth.
exactly, forget which distro for certain coulda swore it was Ubuntu that started working with/incorporating microsoft stuff and ms having their own linux operating system called azure. i have a bad case of brain fog so take this with salt
No, give them ALL the idea's I would say and bring popcorn but I'm sure you would run out before it's over. A bonus is maybe this will accelerate the burnout on all this crap and people go back to not giving two shit's about anything anymore.
the oag community is still around...bounced to poal and aether and worldtruth also on matrix, they left poal due to retardedness on poal's downvote policy but as for oag propper karen bought it under dubious circumstances and kevin was still writing articles last i know. i checked there once outta curriousity and they are donation begging and writing such generic stuff i forgot it already some old readers bounced over to niche gamer too
