There is just no way this country has a chance of getting better unless we manage to kick the radical left out of the the fucking media (traditional, and now the internet based stuff). Basically, reddit publishes an API. An API is an Application Programmer Interface. It is the means by which someone else can write some software, and have that software do stuff on reddit - stuff like, read all the posts, read all the comments, make new posts, make new comments, etc - via making calls through that API.
By making use of that API, it is possible to write your own App that allows someone to use/interact with reddit, without going through Reddit's website, or their official App. Examples of this are stuff Apollo, RedditIsFun, BaconReader.
Shitbag leftist moderators also run software that makes use of that API to do stuff like, check other subs that they don't like, and then have their sub automatically ban someone that has been on one of those wrong think subs.
So - anyhow - reddit has tired of making that API available for free as, 1. Anyone using those other apps doesn't have to view reddit's ads, and doesn't have to provide reddit with their user data. While they are doing that, they are still consuming data, and costing reddit money. 2. Just as all the free art spread out over the internet instantly became valuable when people starting using it to train their "AI" image software (Stuff like Midjourney), all the user comments that reddit has are now assumed to have a bunch of value to those training AI/NLP (Natural Language Processing) bots like ChatGPT.
That act of them deciding use of it is no longer free has pissed off three groups. 1. The people that like to access reddit via third party Apps. 2. The power jannies who are worried its going to be harder to use their "tools" to ban people they don't like, and 3. The usual slacktavist virtue signalers that are always willing to climb aboard whatever the next big "cause" happens to be.
Me? I'm just in it to see the power jannies burn. I know they won't be replaced with anyone better, but there will still be some joy in seeing this currnent crop REEEEEEEE the fuck out when they lose their power over others.
And, on top of that, the mods of the most hyper political, hyper propagandist subs - r/politics, r/worldnews, r/whitepeopletwitter, etc - curiously didn't participate in the blackout.
In fact, with lots of the other subs not clogging up the toppage, it seemed like there was more crap from those subs up on top than usual.
My favorite part of the whole thing is how those same power jannies that control all those subs took some of them down, but left up stuff like r/politics, r/whitepeoplewtitter, r/worldnews, etc.

The net-neutrality one was further back. The latest one (prior to this) was the the BS they pulled to get r/noNewNormal (and the other anti covid "wrongthink" subs) banned. That was at the end of 2021.

Thus, the sequence of events was; the power jannies complained about it, reddit put out a joke of a PR piece about how they weren't going to ban the sub, because reddit is pro free speech, then the jannies did what they are doing now, and then reddit "caved" - i.e., did what they were going to do all along, and banned the wrongthink subs.
Unfortunately, the useful idiots think it was their protest that worked last time, when the reality is they were just used to help with the PR impact, so now they are trying it again. I seriously doubt that stuff is going to work this time, though, as this time it's not ideologically driven.
This time it's about money -> control of the site's data, and they aren't going to give that up without a fight, as it's probably got a lot of value now (AI model training, advertisement, etc). It's the same reason they keep shitting up the mobile site, in an attempt to force everyone onto their shitty app (there was another huge controvery around the end of last year about how they removed the ability to have the site stop asking you to get the app, so now it obnoxiously prompts you for it, over, and over, and over...)
In any event, I'm hoping that this finally presses reddit into being forced to do something about the power janny issue. It's utterly ridiculous how much control a couple of unhinged radical leftist activists are being allowed to exert over a huge public square.

They might make some tiny concession in the interest of PR (a concession they were most likely already planning on making, but were holding off to give the appearance of them "listening"), but that's probably as far as they go.
An alien life form might not have 10 fingers and 10 toes, let a lone a base 10 numbering system. We wouldn't understand the basic premises that the technology is based on.

It's not the absolute worst, but it's definitely there a lot.
Some examples are:
- Nearly every single 'leader' you run into, happens to be a woman. There are exceptions, but - by and large - it holds true.
- Every character that is a fuckup is a male, with the exception of maybe Neyrelle's mother, but even she is portrayed in mostly sympathetic light?
- They have an obligatory "surprise! they are gay lovers" big reveal moment in there, and it's every bit as eyerolling as it always is. Spoiler: basically, you'll get to this point where a female thief knows of someone that can help you, and when she suggests that you go find her, Lorath makes some sort of comment along the lines of "It seems like you have another motive for looking for her...". The second I heard it, my eyes literally rolled, and I thought, "HmMMM!!! I wonder what that reason is going to be???". As soon as the cutscene of you bringing her back to camp rolls, sure enough... I just don't understand at what fucking point will the developers stop patting themselves on the back for this trope??? It's just gotten so fucking tiresome. Are gay people really this desperate for this exact same scene to play out over, and over, over???
- The girl - Neyrelle - takes all the power out of your hands, and makes the final world deciding decision in the game. In fact, I can't really think of any decisions you were allowed to make. Neyrelle is basically the main character, and you just play your part of being the guy who kills stuff.
- The supposed "big-bad" in this installment - Lilith, who just so happens to be "female" (so much as a demon can claim to be?) - is basically portrayed in the most sympathetic light possible, and you are essentially chastised for not siding with her. In what previous Diablo game was the big-bad portrayed as being anything other than the most horrible thing possible? The fallen angel guy here - Inarius (male) - is characterized in an incredibly negative light; way worse than any of the demons.
So, anyway - yeah - it could obviously have been worse, but there is still plenty of it there. None of it really stopped me from enjoying the game (other than the constant feelings of, "Fuck, I'm so tired of this being the current-day reality...". My bigger problems are with the gameplay itself.
From what was available in D3, they have seriously cutback on the number of skills you have access to: both active, and passives. On top of that, the itemization just hasn't been that exciting. Everything feels like just plus a couple percent to this, plus a couple percent to that. The only exciting items that change up gameplay much are the oranges and now the uniques, and those just don't seem to have a big enough pool of affixes to pick from.
If I were pressed, I'd probably rate the game a 7 out of 10, or something like that. It just needs "more" to flesh it out / make it more enjoyable.
This stuff here is the the reason I feel little (I want to say none, but I still feel can't help but feel a tiny bit) compassion for girls having their sports ruined, and their scholarships taken by trans athletes.
No single thing is more responsible for the left being allowed to do what it has done (males playing in females sports being only one example) than the fact that women vote for the left en masse.
